GAP : my own version of season 2

Chapter 6

Mon is suppose to go back to England already, but the bad weather forced her to re schedule her flight. The next available flight is not yet confirmed because of the bad weather. 

Mom do you want to change some of the stuff here at home, since I have to re schedule my flight we can go look for new things for the house. Mon is with her Mom right now in the kitchen. 

I appreciate it honey, but we are good. Me and your dad is still good with the things here. 

Let me know mom if you need anything okay, I just want to make sure you and dad are comfortable here.

Thank you honey, we really appreciate it.

Mon decided stay home and relax. She went to her room and looked for a movie to watch. She could not go out since the weather is really bad. 

Her phone beeped, it was Yuki, asking her about her flight.

She replied to Yuki that her flight got cancelled and going to wait for the next available flight.

So Yuki decided to meet up with Mon. 

Mon agreed. 

Mon, I really miss bonding with you. I hope this will not be the last, and I hope you'll not disappear just like that.

Sorry Yuki, it was not really my intention to just leave you guys hanging. Especially you. You're my bestfriend. But it was just that I was in so much pain that time and could no longer handle it. I really need to leave. 

But Yuki, I want to ask you, what happened to Sam and Kirk, why the wedding did not push through.

Mon, I don't think I am the right person to tell you what happened. You two need to talk about it. What I know Mon, she tried to fight for you. She did it for you.

For me? I don't understand. Me? Or maybe she did it for Nita.

Nita? Yuki asked confused.

Nita, you know her, right? They are always together. Nita even went to the office to take her to lunch. She even kissed Sam on the cheek. ( Mon took a deep breath)

Yuki could not help her self to smile. And you are jealous?Yuki asked.

Jealous? If she is happy with Nita. I can't stop her from that. 

I just want to make sure she is okay. I just have questions that you guys don't want to answer. So I am still lost with what really happened.

That is why you need to talk to her. You need to ask her those questions.

You know what let's just drop this issue. Can we just order now, I'm starving. Mon told Yuki

Okay...okay... Yuki called the waiter.

They are now enjoying their food. Yuki also shared to Mon about her and Tee. Mon is so happy for her friend.

After their lunch date the two decided to go to the mall. 

While they were checking some clothes in one of the shops there, they bump into Nita. 

Hi Mon, you're back. How are you?

I'm fine. Thanks for asking. How about you? Mon tries to be polite so she ask her also.

I'm good. Are you here now for good? Nita is curious

No. I just visited. Suppose to fly out today, but the flights got cancelled because of the weather. Mon said

I see. Nice seeing you. But I need to go now. Going to meet with Sam. Nita said it on purpose.

Mon's expression changed. Nice seeing you too, Nita. Then they parted ways. But Mon could not stop her self to look in Nita's direction.

Ehem... I think someone is pissed right now, wanna join me do some boxing.

Boxing? Mon asked

Yup. That is my sports now, Mon. It's what makes me fit and also Tee wanted me to learn something so that I can protect my self in case.

I see. Sure. I think I need some exercise, too. 

So they went to the department store to buy some boxing gear for Mon.

Mon, with all the stress and all the questions that is hanging unanswered in her head, she released it through boxing.

Had fun, Mon?  Yuki asked her while they are changing.

Yeah. It helped. At least it helped me release my stress.

Sam and Nita is having their lunch.

Good you were able to meet up with me already.

Nita, you know how busy I am at work. Specially now the new boss is in the country. Sam said.

New boss? Have you met your new boss? Nita asked.

Yeah. I did a presentation yesterday.

Really? How was it?

I think it went well.

Is your boss a he or a she? Nita curiously asked.

A she. And it's Mon. Sam replied

Mon? The young Mon?

Yup. Mon. She is my boss now. Sam confirmed.

If you feel uneasy working there. You can resign anytime. Nita suggested

I am okay. We are civil. I think. We have talked, just a bit, yesterday.

About what? Nita was curious again

Its just about what happened to us and some other things. Sam replied and continue eating.

Sam do you still love her? Nita asked.

Do you think it is easy to forget her? Of course not. She changed me to a better person, Nita. She is someone. You know. She is special. But its different now. She has a family already I think.

She's married already?

I heard her yesterday telling the bosses that she need to answer the kid that is calling her. So I think its her son or daughter.

It's not okay. But if she's happy, then I am happy for her. Her happiness is more important now.

After her lunch break, Sam went back to the office and busied her self with datas and research again.
