Chapter 10

Mon could not believe what she is seeing now. She has the photos  from Nita's plan.

Ms. A, are you okay? Her secretary ask her.

Can you leave me alone first. The her secretary went out of her office.

Mon is still holding the photos in her hand. She stood up and opened her door and walk straight to Sam's station.

I believe this is yours. Then she threw the envelope in Sam's table and left.

Sam took the envelope, opened it and was so shocked to see the photos.

She immediately run after Mon. Mon went straight to her office.

Mon, let me explain about that photo.

You don't have to. I saw and it is clear that you have something going on with her.

No I want to explain to you about it. It is not what are you thinking of. She force her self to me yesterday. 

After you told me that you are leaving again for England, I felt the pain again. I had a few drinks, she suddenly appeared at the bar. She drove me home cause I'm tipsy already, I didn't know that she has this plans like this. I pushed her immediately Mon. You can ask her if you want.

I said you don't have to explain.

Sam went closer to Mon. 

But I want to and I need to. 

Mon just looked at Sam. 

Mon I promise it's nothing. 

Mon is now checking some documents in her table.

Damn it. Can you say something Mon. 

What for? huh Sam, what for?!

You kissed each other. You promised me, that you'll not kiss anyone after what happened with Jim in the past. But you broke that promise.

Sam was surprised to what Mon have said.

She knows how Mon if she's jealous.

Mon, I did not kiss her. She kissed me. I pushed her away immediately. Sam told her again.

Mon is just staring at Sam as if she will be cut opened.

Please don't believe that. Please. Sam is now in front of Mon since she pulled Mon's chair close to her.

Mon do you really believe I can kiss someone else aside from you. Please Mon. I never kissed anyone else aside from you. Of course what happened with Jim. But kissing someone else like that. I can't. I can only have that kiss with you.

Mon did not say anything and it makes Sam frustrated. She knows how tough Mon can be when she is jealous. 

Now they are having a staring showdown.  

A knock on the door pulled them out of their moment.

Sam walked away from Mon.

Ms. A sorry to disturb, but Mr. Huang is already in the conference room.

Okay, we'll be their in a minute.

I'll just prepare my presentation. But We will need to talk later. 

No need Sam. I'll be busy later. I have a visitor coming from England.

Sam is now really frustrated. She could not do anything because she needs to prepare the presentation already.

Mon is now fixing her self. She heard a knock.

She was so surprised to see Brent.

You are here. I thought you'll arrive in the evening. Mon said

Wanted to see your surprised face you know. How are you here? Brent asked Mon.

I fine. I have a presentation to attend to and since you're here now, let me introduce you to them.

Then Mon lead the way and Brent followed her.

Mon introduced Brent to the executives,  then they sat beside each other. Brent once in a while is whispering something to Mon and she smiles.

Sam is just observing them. She needs to focus, but honestly she is getting pissed with what she is seeing.

After her presentation and after she answered their additional questions, Sam excused her self and went out.

She is really pissed off and needs a breather. She went to the roof top. This is her space.

She saw Mon and that Brent rode the car and left.

I think I'm no longer important to her. She don't care anymore.

Sam fix her self and went her way. As usual she is waiting for the bus again.

On the other side of the road, there is a small café, Mon is just looking at Sam.

Is she the Sam that you are talking about, Mon? Brent asked.

Yes. I just can't still believe that she gave up everything for me, Brent. I feel bad for her. She has her own house, her car, her business. She lost all of it because of me.

Look at her now, waiting for the bus. She deals with all of this because of me.

Hey, don't be to harsh on your self Mon. Maybe she did it for you, but its still her decision.

I want to take care of her, Brent. But I don't know how. And Nita is like a hawk, she tries to ruin us Brent. She wanted Sam so bad.

How about you how much do you like her, or shall I say, how much do you want her back in your life? Brent asked.

The bus arrived and Sam went on. Mon is thinking now of what Brent is asking her.
