Chapter 8

Now I really don't know if leaving Thailand was a good decision back then. Learning that Sam's wedding did not push through, Mon felt that her decision to leave for England ruined everything for her and Sam. She felt she was the one who let go first with what they have before.

Mon locked her self up in her room the whole night. She was not in the mood to talk to anyone. She felt really bad and tears just keeps coming out. She could not deny that the love she have for Sam is still the same.

The following day Mon does not feel well. She is having a temperature so her Mom told her to just rest first.

She tried to stand up but felt dizzy. So she went back to her bed and lay down.

She was suppose to attend some meetings but need to cancel.

At the office

Sam, the presentation will have to be postpone. Ms. A will not be able to join us today. Karen informed Sam.

Is there a problem with Ms. A? Sam curiously ask

Mr. Huang said Ms. A is sick. Then the secretary went her way.

Sam got worried about Mon. She knows if Mon is sick it's not just a simple colds or cough. She know how Mon if she is sick.

She wanted to check on her but how, she wanted to visit her but it will not be that easy and they are not in good terms now.

But Sam is really worried, she decided to go to Mon's place and check on her.

Mon's place

Sam was so nervous to press the doorbell.

Are you expecting someone today, honey? Mon's dad asked her wife.

None that I remember of.

Then Mon's dad went to open the door.

He was surprise to see Sam.

Lady Sam? Mr. Armstrong was surprise to see Sam.

Uncle. Good afternoon. And please just call me Sam.

Ahm.. I heard that Mon is not feeling well, so I decided to pass by and give this to her. it might help her feel better.

Oh, please come in first, Sam. Your Auntie will sure be happy to see you.

Thank you, uncle.

Then Auntie, when she saw Sam, she was really delighted.

Finally, you showed up, huh. How are you? She went immediately and gave Sam a tight hug.

Hi, Auntie. I am okay.

Good to know that you are okay my dear.

I think I know why you are here. Auntie teases Sam. ( Sam blushed )

I heard at the office that she is not feeling well., Auntie. That is why I decided to check on her. For sure you're having a hard time convincing her to eat.

( uncle and auntie already knew that Sam is working at Mon's company and what happened to her )

Good you came, she just locked her self in the room and does not eat. She only have water. Maybe you still have that power to make her eat, Sam. Then Auntie smiled at Sam.

Sam blushed at Auntie's words.

Can I check on her?  uncle, auntie.

Of course, and can you stay with her for a while, we just need to go somewhere and do some errands.
