Flowers

Hunter was always aware of how much you loved flowers. Every time you guys hung out with each other in the Boiling Isles, you would always take a moment to stop and admire any flowers you came across. Now that everyone was stuck in the human realm, he decided to explore the place a bit.

While Hunter was out on his little exploration, he stumbled across a flower field. The first thing that immediately popped into his mind was how he wished you were here to enjoy the view with him. He made a mental note to show you the place on another day.

So the very next day he did just that. He brought you to the flower field he had found, insisting on not telling you where you guys were going, saying that it was a surprise.

When you guys finally reached the area, your eyes widened in surprise at the beautiful sight before you. Taking your hand in his, you walked through the field taking in the sight of all the colorful blooms the place had to offer.

Hunter couldn't help but notice how happy you looked. How your (e/c) eyes were sparkling, and the huge grin you had plastered on your face. It made him feel warm inside knowing that he could make you this happy.

"T-thank you for taking me to a beautiful flower field you found," you said softly, looking up at him.

Hunter just smiled in response, feeling a bit shy himself. He wasn't used to being thanked for things like this. Most of his life only having been praised by his uncle and that itself was a rare occurrence. He was glad that you appreciated it.

After walking for a few minutes, you guys decided to take a break underneath the shadow of a tree. Pulling out a few flowers from the field and began to weave them together. Hunter watched in amazement as you worked, your hands moving quickly and gracefully.

"What are you making?"

"I'm making you something, as thanks for bringing me here."

Once you were finished, you gently placed the flower crown on Hunter's head. "You look so adorable in the flower crown," you said sweetly, giving him a shy smile.

Hunter felt his face go red at your words, feeling a bit self-conscious. But when you leaned in and gave him a sweet kiss on the nose, he couldn't help but feel a rush of affection for you at that moment turning his face an even brighter shade of red as his ears wiggled in delight.

"Do you want me to teach you how to make one?"

Hunter nodded, he was still too flustered to form any words. You then picked some flowers and taught Hunter how to make a flower crown. And as you taught him how to make his own flower crown, he couldn't help but feel a sense of closeness to you that he had never felt before.

It took a few tries, but eventually, the both of you made a beautiful crown together, filled with delicate petals and vibrant colors.He couldn't help but feel a bit giddy inside as he looked at you, feeling grateful for this moment.

He placed the completed flower crown on top of your head.

"There, now we match," he smiled, "now you have a crown fit for a ruler."

You blushed at his statement.

The rest of the day was spent exploring the flower field, taking pictures, and making more flower crowns. Hunter had never felt so carefree before, enjoying every moment spent with you.

As the sun began to set, you both sat down side by side on a patch of soft grass and watched the sky change colors. The sound of crickets filled the air, and fireflies danced around you both.

"This was the best day ever, H-huntie," you said softly, leaning your head on his shoulder.

Hunter couldn't agree more. He had never felt so happy and at peace with himself. Being able to share this moment with you made it even more special.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it," he replied, wrapping his arm around you.

You both sat there in silence, watching the sky until the stars came out. Hunter couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment, being able to cherish this moment of just him and you.

As you both began to head back, Hunter couldn't help but feel a bit sad that the day was coming to an end. But he knew that he could always look back to this day, and he couldn't wait to make more memories with you in the future.

"I had a great time today, thank you for coming with me," he said as he walked with you back home.

"I had a great time too," you replied, giving him a smile.

Hunter felt his heart skip a beat at your words, feeling grateful for the connection that he shared with you.
