Riven's POV
One month later
"That's a foul are you blind ref!" Levi shouts as he stands in frustration. "What?"
"Nothing, I just haven't seen you this upset before" I laugh. We are at Collins basketball game. It is the semi-final game. If we win this we will be in the final again. Collins really wants to win state this year. They were so close last year but lost by four points.
We are winning by 20 with a minute left. It is obvious that we are going to win. And we do.
"You played so great!" I tell Collins as she walks out of the locker room.
"Thanks baby, but I could have done better. Going to have to play better if I want to win state"
"Dude you scored 40 points and had 12 assists" Simon tells her.
"Yeah exactly"
"Shit" Saylor says and we all turn to her.
"What?"
"Um, Milton Prep won" Saylor replies. Collins looks at me with concern. Milton winning means that we are playing them for the final. Meaning that Collins is going to play against Riley.
"You don't have to come to the game if you don't want to. I know-"
"Are you serious? I'm definitely going. I would not miss your game" I interrupt her.
"But-"
"No. I am not going to let Riley stop me from supporting my girlfriend. You are more important than her. I'll be fine" Collins still looked concerned for me. She knows that I haven't seen Riley since everything that has happened.

It is the day of the championship game. I am both excited and nervous. I know that I will see Riley but I just hope that I don't have to talk to her or that anything happens. I want this day to be about Collins. It is important to her and she needs to be focused.
Everyone is here at the game. Both mine and Collins' parents, our siblings, and friends. Clarke came down with her girlfriend for tonight's game too. We are all so excited for Collins. Our families have gotten pretty close. Jordan and Leah couldn't make it but Dani was facetiming Leah, they have been attached to their phones since they started dating. Our parents and Clarke are sitting with the other parents and the rest of us are in the student section.
"I'm going to go to the bathroom then get some snacks. Do you guys want anything?"
"Popcorn, coke, sour patch" Levi, Nico, and Simon say. I smile and go to the bathroom.
I see the line to the women's bathroom and decide to just use the one in the locker room. I really need to use it and don't think I can wait in that line.
As I finish washing my hands and turn to walk out I feel hands wrap around my waist.
"Hey beautiful"
"Collins?-" I turn confused because she sounds and feels different.
"Who's Collins?"
"Riley what the fuck" I push her off of me.
"Hi Riven. Been a while" she smirks. "I'm glad you are here" she moves close to me but I back up.
"Why?"
"Why wouldn't I?"
"You had me expelled!" I shout.
"Come on, Riven, that wasn't personal. I had no choice-"
