"Again?" Yool sights as I approach, showing him a bleeding wound on my arm. "I can't believe you actually got your hunter's license with such a low mana rate. All you do is get yourself hurt. You should seriously quit and let Seon-Ji and I raid without you. It's too dangerous."

Nevertheless, he casts a healing spell and the wound slowly disappears.

"You're not going anywhere without me. I can't just sit back and watch you struggle against monsters while doing nothing. Look. I even got one!" With a proud smile, I show him a small essence stone I earned by killing an E-rank monster who bit me right before his death. "That's my second one today. I'll catch another one."

"I doubt it. The raid is almost finished."

He is right. The other hunters gather around the boss of the dungeon, attacking him altogether. Among them, I notice Seon-Ji who jumps from behind a tank and pierces one eye of the tall monster with a dagger. The monster growls, but its suffering is soon ended as other hunters finally slay it, marking the end of the raid.

"All right. Let's go home." Yool announces.

"Guys! You should come to see this!" someone yells.

I turn around and join the hunter who called, imitated by the others. We stand in front of a large stone tunnel leading downwards.

"Light!" a mage utters and small light balls enlighten the tunnel.

"I thought the monster we killed just now was the boss." a hunter says.

"It was. This must be a double dungeon." another one answers.

"Should we go?" a third asks.

"Aren't we supposed to report this to the association?"

"We probably won't get to finish the raid ourselves if we do."

"I kind of want to know what's on the other side." This voice belongs to Seon-Ji.

"Yeah."

"Me too."

"Same.

"Hold on. We don't know what we will find, it could be dangerous!" Yool intervenes. "Hee-Jin already injured herself badly too many times to count today and she wasn't the only one."

"Well, yeah, but it's Soo Hee-Jin we're talking about." a hunter observes.

I stay silent. He isn't the first one to openly say such a remark, I am used to it. The worst is that I can't even deny it: I am E-rank, the lowest one. But that isn't the problem. Even among the E-ranks, I am, with another hunter I heard of, the lowest rank of the ladder. Thought I never met that other hunter, we are called 'the world's weakest duo' by the hunter community. My mana rate is so low that some people even refuse to consider me as awakened. Even if I am a little bit stronger than an average human, the word 'hunter' sometimes seems too meaningful to be suited for me. But it's not like I could quit this job. This is my only option if I want to gain some money, even if it isn't much.

"I only scraped myself" another hunter justifies themselves. "Besides, this is the exact reason why you are here."

"I'm D-rank." Yool says. "There is only so much I can heal."

"This dungeon is D-rank, too. I think we can survive this."

"Alright everyone! Who wants to go?" a hunter shouts.

Most of the hunters agree. Seon-Ji and I do, too. There is no way that I would miss a chance to earn more money.

"Are you two serious?" Yool scolds us.
