"I'm fine." I lie, clenching my fists to hide the deep wounds on the palm of my hands and hoping that he won't notice the drops of blood dripping from them.
"How did you think of using 'status recovery' like that? That's a brilliant idea!"
It was his idea, but he can't know that since he used it during the battle against the giant spider of the C-rank dungeon. I'm thankful for this knowledge. Who knows what could have happened if I hadn't used it during the battle? Though I have to admit that I would really like to be able to use it again to heal the wounds on my hands. Healing potions could be an option, too, but we haven't leveled up enough to purchase anything in the shop.
"I just... figured that I would probably need it. But thanks." I still accept his compliment, needing to play along.
He smiles at me, making me feel bad for stealing his idea. Well, technically, he hasn't had the idea yet so it should be alright.
"Oh. We also got something even better than Mr Kim's sword." he announces, showing me the weapon he will fight with until the end of the story. "It's a dagger made out of fangs, not bones."

"We should split the rewards up. Do you want the dagger?" he offers. "I'll take the venom."
"What? No, I can't accept that."
"Why not? You need a weapon."
"You too. This is your dungeon and you were the one who killed the kasaka, in the end."
"I wouldn't have done it without you."
Yes, he would have. Why does he need to insist? The dagger belongs to him.
"If I take the venom and a better item from the D-rank instance dungeon once we clear it, will you accept the dagger?" I suggest. He won't use the venom anyways, so I might as well have it.
