"J-Joon-Tae!" a hunter calls, horrified.

"W... What the?" the voice of another trails off.

"Since when did that bastard have a dagger? Where did he get it from?" they wonder.

Hwan Dong-Suk stares at Jin-Woo, sweat running down his face. To him, Jin-Woo still is a lowly E-rank. Such a weak hunter couldn't possibly have killed a member of his squad. But he did.

Jin-Woo grips the handle of his dagger tighter. He did it. He killed someone. Even if the system ordered him to, he still committed a murder. Nothing can change that fact. In dungeons, it's kill or be killed. And he chose to survive. He starts walking towards his prey again, his eyes glowing blue. He did it once. There is no backing out now.

"I don't know what he's trying to do, but don't let your guard down. Attack him, Kyu-Hwan." Hwan Dong-Suk orders.

This time, the mage uses his full force to throw an explosion at the hunter, but the latter dodges it easily, approaching Kyu-Hwan in the blink of an eye.

"Your magic tricks are getting in the way." Jin-Woo comments before cutting the mage in pieces.

Hwan Dong-Suk watches by, slowly understanding the situation.

"That piece of sh*t!" two hunters yell.

They attack the player together, but it has no use. The first one swings his sword down on Jin-Woo, who avoids it effortlessly and slices his throat open. He then deviates the trajectory of the blade that the other hunter is aiming at him by pushing the arm of the murderer and stabs him in the belly with his dagger. And panic breaks out.

"H-How can an E-rank hunter move like that?"

"I can't block his attacks!"

"They're too fast!"

[Effect: Paralyze has been activated.]

"I can't move my body! Argh!"

"Is it magic? Is he using magic?"

"That son of a-"

"Gaaah!"

"Who the hell is this guy?"

They all fall like flies under Jin-Woo's dagger. Unable to keep my eyes off the scenery, I slowly stand up. I shouldn't just stand by and watch. I should- I should help him. Even if he doesn't need me. Even if I don't want to. Because the system wants me to. Because it is my duty. Because I couldn't prevent it from happening.

"He's strong." Jin-Ho comments. "I feel like he's stronger now than when you two were fighting the dungeon boss."

He is right. He has a good eye. But he won't be the one to discover Jin-Woo's secret. I don't answer. Instead, I summon my dagger and cling to it, reminding myself that I need to move. I need to kill them. All of them. Until there isn't any of them left.

"He... He took out my squad?" Hwan Dong-Suk exclaims, realizing his mistake. "You bastard, you've been hiding your abilities. And I guess that b*tch over there, too. Were you two also the ones who defeated the dungeon boss?"
