(49) plastic hearts // miley cyrus
midnight sky was sort of a hit. not as big as the songs released in the same time frame, like bad guy and watermelon sugar, but i don't think it ~flopped. like at all.
it's rock, something miley has experimented with for quite some time. i like 'prisoner' too. it's punk and dua blended well with its vibe.
but 'angels like you' is on another level, entirely. maybe it's my fave miley cyrus song of all time. there's just too much emotion and depth to it. plus her vocal fit the genre so much. even if she sings it acapella, i know she'd being justice to it.
miley is also one hell of a versatile and experimental artist. she likes venturing into new stuff, and she does so well in every genre shift she's done.
