I stood up turned away from him and ran. I never ran, not like this. I ran so fast that I tripped over my feet and nearly face-planted into the sidewalk. I caught myself and continued running. I didn't live very far from school, about a five-minute walk. My heart was racing, and my face was flushed. I couldn't breathe correctly, and it was not because I was running or out of shape. It's because of the way he said my name with his baritone(deep) voice. I jumped my way up the stairs in front of the house and struggled to get my key into the lock. Safely inside I shut the door and leaned it against it with my back. That was so close! I nearly died! Who in their right mind would give him that sweet sweet voice?! Did they not expect this to happen?! I thought as I looked down at the raging boner in my pants, this was the second time today. That's it! No more thinking of him, or his sexy voice...and wonderful eyes...and pretty hair...and... ugh I gotta stop! No more thinking of Damian! I shake my head and make my way up the stairs to my room.

Saturday morning finally arrives and the sun peeking through my curtains wakes me up gently. Sadly, I didn't want to be woken up just yet. I was having a perfect dream. Damian and I are together on the beach having a romantic time if you know what I mean. I sighed and sat up to attempt to get out of bed, but the dream was so fresh in my head that I couldn't stop thinking of it. The way his hand trailed down my back to cup my butt. Or the way his lips felt against mine, soft. Of course, I would be waking up with morning wood, especially after a dream like that. Annoyed with myself I huffed and fell back against my fluffy pillows. Nothing was going to make me get up right now.
"Max, are you awake?" My older brother's voice asked from the other side of my bedroom door.
Then again, nothing goes my way, "Yeah, you can come in." I called out and rolled over to face the door as it opened.
My oldest brother pops his head in to make sure I'm decent before his wife who happened to be right behind him steps in. His wife whose belly looks like she swallowed a watermelon stepped inside with a bright smile, no teeth showing though meaning she was nervous. She was heavily pregnant with my brother's first child, a boy. The two stepped in and my brother shut the door behind them for some privacy. Whatever it was they were going to say must be pretty big. I sit up again, thanking myself that I decided to sleep with pajamas on. I pat my bed so Viola, my brother's wife, can sit and rest. She happily took the seat I was offered and sat down beside me. Xavier, my older brother, sat at my desk in my wheely chair.
"So... we wanted to ask you something. It's really important to us." He said and eyed his wife.
I nodded and began to rub Viola's stomach. I was excited to be an uncle. Viola sighed quietly grateful for the small gesture. Xavier smiled and cleared his throat as he leaned his elbows on his knees.
"How many more weeks are left?" I asked.
"3 weeks" She replied softly "Just 3 weeks left but my OB says he may come early." She had a huge smile on her face just as my brother did.
"What did you guys wanna talk about? Is everything okay?" I looked at my brother Xavier a little nervous myself now.
"Oh yes everything is okay is just we..." Xavier looked at his beautiful wife.
"Would you do us the honor of being our son's godfather?" They both said at the same time.
I stood there slightly shocked that they'd want me as the godfather. I stared at my brother for a solid two minutes. I couldn't believe it. I was only in high school and already about to become someone's godfather. My heart fluttered at the thought. I couldn't stop the smile that was growing on my face.
"Hell yeah!" I exclaimed excitedly.
We chatted some more then they left me alone in my room again. My phone dinged, it was a text from Alex asking me if I wanted to tag along as he was going to the mall for the hell of it. I agreed, got dressed, and grabbed my car keys. There was no need for me to use the car when going to school since I lived so close. I let my momma know where I was going, kissed her cheek, and went off. Driving always seemed so calming except when your brain decides it'd be fun to imagine Damian in the passenger seat rubbing one off. I slammed my brakes out of nowhere causing the car behind me to honk very loudly as they drove around me. Sighing, I stared at the steering wheel hoping to calm down my heart and thoughts. This was not a time to think about him. Nor was it a time that I should be catching feelings for someone I barely even knew.
