Another week had passed since you had seen Cleo and her friends. You decided you were going to take a break from them. You hadn't left any time for Tee, and the guilt nipped at you gently.

You waited patiently for her to get out of the bathroom. She had to have her nightly shower, as she felt disgusting after not having one for a day. You had known that since you were a child, so you allowed her to do her own thing.

Finally, she stepped out, her pajamas on and her hair damp.

"So, what we eatin'?" She asked.

"I thought about ordering some takeout." You hummed, scrolling on your phone for the restaurant. "This one chinese place delivers."

"Ooh, yum." She grinned.

You smiled at her, happy to finally talk to someone who knew you like the back of their hand. Regardless of who you spent your time with, Tee was still your best friend.

You called the restaurant with Tee at your side, oblivious to the figure that sat outside your window....again.

Ghoulia clicked the camera button and took more pictures, this time with a smile on her face. You were truly beautiful. You were much prettier than any ghoul or human she had ever seen.

She snapped out of her trance and quickly sent the photos to Cleo. She received an instant message.

Cleo:
•Who the fuck is that??
•Is that a friend?
•A girlfriend?
•Fucking answer me Ghoulia
•WHO THE FUCK IS THAT

Ghoulia rolled her eyes and began typing a reply.

Ghoulia:
•It's her friend. Tee.
•Also, don't cuss at me when I'm doing you a favor.

Cleo gripped her hair as she stared at her messages. You had other friends??

She tried to think rationally. Of course you had other friends! What kind of girl wouldn't?

But you? That was a different story. She couldn't imagine someone else taking up your time. Was it Tee's fault that you hadn't messaged Cleo? Was it Tee's fault that you hadn't hung out with Cleo?

Probably.

Cleo felt the rage slowly fill her mouth and tongue, creating a burning sensation that scraped at the top of her mouth and all the way down to her throat. She smacked her lips, the taste of blood entering her mouth.

What was she going to do now? Cleo knew she was replaceable. She knew she was basic.

But you made her feel special. You made her somebody. You separated her from the group. You cared.

She couldn't let you escape her, not now that you had already captured her.

She had to do something. Determination filled her.

She'd call Frankie.  That's what she'd do.

Cleo waited patiently for the phone to ring. Eventually, the voicemail came through, and she threw her phone.

She'd have to call again later.

"No." She mumbled, her hands shaking. "N-No.."

She had to get rid of Tee. But how could she do that by herself?

Cleo stood and ran to her car. She'd just have to be face to face with Frankie, then.

She drove fast, her knuckles turning white from how hard she gripped the wheel. She arrived at Frankie's not long after, and she jumped from the car.

She burst through the front door. No one was around.

Cleo felt her heart drop. She had to find Frankie.

She stomped her way to Frankie's room and slammed the door open.

Frankie's head shot up in surprise, before she eventually calmed down.

"What's wrong?" Frankie asked.

"(Y/N), she...she has...it's her friend!"

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you understand me, bitch?!" Cleo rushed to her and jerked her off the bed by her collar. "She has a new best friend!! She doesn't want us!"

Frankie felt tears prick her eyes. You didn't want her?

She tried her hardest not to cry. You really didn't want her?

"What's wrong with you!" Cleo smacked her hard.

Frankie's chest rumbled. She was pissed.

She jerked Cleo by her hair and slammed her onto the bed. "You let her get away?! This was your fucking plan, and you let it fail?! What are you good for?!"

Cleo began to sob, and so did Frankie. You were slipping through their fingers before they had even grabbed you!

"We...we need a new plan." Cleo breathed, and she sat up the moment Frankie had released her.

"Like?"

"Like....a distraction. (Y/N) has to like us more."

"How do we do that, genius?"

"We give her no other option."

Lagoona stepped up to Frankie's front porch. She held a content smile on her face as she knocked.

A man opened the door with a warm smile on his stitched face. "Hello, Lagoona. Can I help you?"

"I'd like to talk to Frankie, please."

"Of course! She's in her bedroom."

He opened the door wide enough for Lagoona to slip in. She walked to the bedroom, but the sound of voices made her stop.

Gruesome details were described on the other side of the door.

She opened it quickly, and Cleo and Frankie stared at her.

"What were you talking about?" She asked in fear.

Cleo shared a glance with Frankie before turning to Lagoona again.

"Just hear me out." Cleo said. "It's not as bad as it sounds."
