Abbey walked down the street with a frown. She had decided she'd talk to Lagoona about her new dilemma. Sure, Lagoona probably wouldn't be happy, but who cared? Abbey was going to end up with you anyway.

She turned down a road and made her way into a nice neighborhood. Lagoona's house was further into the neighborhood, and Abbey sighed as she realized the distance she'd have to walk before she got to see Lagoona.

Eventually, she made it to Lagoona's house, and she hesitated before knocking on the door loudly.

There wasn't a response.

Abbey lifted her hand to knock again, but before her fist could land on the door, it was opened.

A disheveled looking Lagoona answered, and Abbey softened when she saw the sight. She had forgotten it was early morning, but how was she supposed to know? She had been up all night without sleep, and she hadn't checked her phone to see the time.

Lagoona frowned deeply. "What are you here for?" She asked.

Abbey sighed and looked downwards, knowing the response she'd receive. "I...have news."

It was Lagoona's turn to sigh, and she opened the door wider as she let out the huff that she had been holding in.

Abbey stepped inside and looked around before turning to Lagoona, who shut the door and gave her a tired grin. "Well, are you going to say something?"

Abbey peeked around the corners of the room and shook her head. "No. Not here."

Lagoona bit her lip. If Abbey wasn't willing to say anything out in the open, it must've been bad. She pointed to a hallway. "Come on, we'll go to my room, then."

Abbey followed her through the hallway and to a room. Lagoona shut the door and turned to her friend, who was already making herself comfortable on the bed. "Now will you tell me?" Lagoona asked.

Abbey sighed loudly. "I...I like (Y/N)..."

Lagoona's eyes widened. "What?"

"I like (Y/N)!" Abbey looked downwards. "I knew last night. She is pretty."

A small blush formed on her cheeks as she spoke, and Lagoona stood with crossed arms. This information wasn't what she had been expecting.

Lagoona huffed again as she processed what Abbey had been saying.

Abbey didn't stop, however. "I look through the window...she sleeps sweetly."

Lagoona's eyes widened. "You look through her window?"

"Yes."

"Abbey!" Lagoona scolded. "What...You...What the actual fuck, Abbey."

"I will not stop." Abbey hummed. "I will not."

Lagoona smacked her lips. "I told you I liked her."

"I apologize."

Lagoona stood in silence. She couldn't tell if it was a good or bad thing that Abbey also had feelings for you. On one hand, Lagoona wanted to slap Abbey in the face for stabbing her in the back. On the other, she was sure that you'd be more willing to hang out with Lagoona if someone else was with you.

She shook her head to rid herself of her thoughts. No, she wouldn't use her friend like that.

But maybe they could agree on something.

"How about this?" Lagoona thought for a second. "We get her to like us, and we share, but we both have to work to get her."

Abbey's eyes widened. "Huh?"

"I don't want Cleo to have her. I can't let Cleo or Frankie get her, don't you understand?!"

Abbey stood straight up. She didn't want Cleo or Frankie to have you, either. "Fine."

Lagoona smiled. That was easier than she thought!

"How about you stay the night?" She offered. "Maybe we can even invite (Y/N) to the diner some time, just us three?"

Abbey nodded. "Yes. Good, very smart."

Lagoona and Abbey sat in silence. Abbey laid draped across Lagoona's bed as she stared at the ceiling. Lagoona sat at her small desk, writing plan after plan to get to you.

They had different thoughts entirely.

While Lagoona was more concerned about getting to you and getting with you, Abbey focused on the others in the group that had feelings. If Cleo and Frankie had feelings, then she was sure that someone else did too.

The thoughts bothered her deeply, so she sat up to stare at Lagoona.

"The others." Abbey huffed. "They...have advantages."

"That's fine." Lagoona didn't turn to make eye contact with Abbey. Instead, she stayed focused on her pen and paper.

"I do not like them." Abbey said.

"Then don't be friends with them anymore."

"I cannot do that."

"Then don't." Lagoona rolled her eyes and sat up straight before spinning in her chair to face Abbey.

"But-"

"Abbey, we're not doing this all night. You don't need to be friends with them. They hurt you and me by catching feelings for the girl we love."

"That is true." Abbey nodded.

"Exactly. Oh! I got it! Let's pretend we're a part of the group, get an advantage, and steal (Y/N) away from them!"

"Very good idea." Abbey smiled wickedly. "Very, very good."
