Abbey laid in bed a few nights later. After hearing what Lagoona said, it was difficult for her to trust the group around you. She feared for your safety, too worried about you to get a bit of sleep.

She sighed and turned her head to her wall. She couldn't focus without you. She couldn't pay attention to anything unless she knew you were okay.

Her mind flashed to her phone. She could always text you. She could always call to make sure you were okay. But she didn't. She didn't want to bother you.

What if you were asleep? What if you were in the shower?

She couldn't just call. Besides, it was nearly 2 in the morning. She couldn't think of a reason why you'd be awake, so she didn't bother with texting you.

Abbey sighed again. The only way to ease her thinking was to check on you. But how could she do that without waking you up?

She looked to her window as an idea took over her mind.

She could just show up. She could check on you if she arrived at your house.

But how? You were asleep!

Well, she could always look through your window. It would prevent her from bothering you, but she would also get her peace of mind.

She decided she'd do it, and she lifted herself off of her bed.

Abbey quietly made her way down the stairs and slid into her car. Then, she began the drive to your house.

She parked directly outside. It wasn't like anyone would see her. Everyone was asleep, and your dad wasn't home. She remembered where your bedroom was and rushed to your window.

You slept calmly on your mattress. The only movement you made was your chest, which lifted and sank with every breath you took.

She smiled. You were safe.

A wave of guilt flashed Abbey, and she frowned. Was this wrong? Was looking through your window and stalking you wrong?

It wasn't stalking. It was making sure you were okay. It was keeping you safe. Was there anything wrong with keeping you safe?

She looked to you once more and, after being completely sure that you were okay, began her walk to her car.

Abbey started her car and slowly backed out of your driveway. She admired the houses that were in your neighborhood. They were small but cute, and they held a type of simplicity in them. Abbey hoped she could live in a home as cozy and sweet as the ones she passed.

Eventually, she made it back to where she stayed. She hoped she could sneak in without bothering anybody.

After tiptoeing through the house, she made it to her room. She closed her door slowly and quietly, then relaxed on her bed.

A sense of peace washed over her. She was finally home, and you were safe.

She couldn't help but smile. You were perfectly at rest, nothing was wrong and you were comfortable and warm in your bed.

Abbey sighed happily. You were okay, which meant that she was okay.

She crawled under her blankets and allowed the tension to leave her body.

The peace lulled her to sleep, and she allowed it to drift her away.

Cleo and Ghoulia stalked around your house. They had looked through every window, just to see if you were awake. After concluding that you were in your bedroom, they made their way to it.

You slept in your bed, and Cmeo nearly screamed in glee when she saw you. You were so sweet, so innocent when you were sleeping.

Cleo wished she could ruin that innocence. She wanted to ruin the sweet girl you were. She wanted to taint you with her body.
