*You know, it's been nearly a year since I last updated this story, that's just crazy, right! Sorry it's taken so long but I'm trying to get as much done as I can, sometimes I feel like writing for a story then other times I don't, this just unfortunately fell hard in the later one of those two...

So with that being said, if you're excited for this story to return gimme a "Hell Yeah"!*

=========================

Ardan is walking to the left of Leia keeping an eye on their surroundings, he's never been to this planet before and that worries him, Leia though is just happy to see a new place while Obi-Wan walked on Leia's right, only he seemed to slow down a little as he peered off into the distance.

Leia: Ben...?

Ardan stopped his walking and turned back to see that Leia too has stopped and so has Obi-Wan, only he stopped about 5 steps ago and Leia is between both the Jedi Knights, Ardan could see the look in Obi-Wan's eyes, he was clearly fearing something he's seeing, only when Ardan looked to where Obi-Wan is, he couldn't see anything, Obi-Wan however was seeing Anakin from that day back on Mustafar.

Leia: ... Ben?

Obi-Wan this time seemed to snap out of whatever trance he was in as he looked to the little girl, Leia walked closure to the older of the two Jedi while Ardan turned back to see them, still not sure what's just happened, Leia looked a little worried or scared as Obi-Wan rested his hand on her shoulder, looking back to where he was just staring, only this time, there was nothing there.

Obi-Wan: Stay close.

Ardan watched them both walk past him as he wondered what was going on with Obi-Wan, sure it's an emotional journey for him but they have to keep the girls safe, if Obi-Wan isn't up to the task then Ardan should take over this by himself, he's not as unprepared for this sort of task like Obi-Wan clearly is.

He brushed it aside for now though as they continued walking through the dried out meadows, Leia kept asking questions about his son, which of course Ardan was happy to do, he loves talking about Luke and it won't kill them if Leia learns a little bit about her brother, it's not like Ardan's going to tell her the truth or their going to meet at any point.

Obi-Wan: Now, remember, if anyone asks, we're farmers from Tawl. You're my daughter and you're my brother...

Obi-Wan stopped them from having their little conversation as Ardan still has his saber on his left hip, ready, just encase though it's still covered by his robe's, they don't need the un welcome attention, though he did have something to say about Obi-Wan's little plan.

Ardan: Really? Brother? No one's going to believe that. Son, maybe.

Leia looked between them as Ardan has a point, Obi-Wan though wasn't sure what the younger Jedi was implying so he asked him what he was talking about, Ardan wasn't really sure how to say it without sounding cruel but he seemed to find the best way.

Ardan: Well, you're. You know...?

Obi-Wan stopped walking and turned to the former Padawan as he too stopped, Leia was forced to stop between them while still looking from one to the other as Obi-Wan folded his arms across his chest, he knows what he's trying to say and wanted him to say it, Ardan took a small deep breath then looked his former Teacher in the face.

Ardan: ... Old.

Obi-Wan raised his eyebrows as Leia laughed between them, Ardan held a small smirk but it turned to a chuckle when Obi-Wan just scoffed and walked away, that's when Ardan looked down to the laughing Leia, he then held his right hand out to her, letting her take it as they caught up with Obi-Wan, Ardan decided to just play along, if they get caught then he can rub it in the experienced Jedi's face.
