i'm almost 17 years old and at my age we get a soul mark. our soulmate gets to decide what is put on our arms... i find that so stupid but it's how the world works. my birthday is today but i start school tomorrow. i'm not excited at all. because I KNOW with my SHITTY luck, i'm going to have a dumb soulmate who will write stupid shit.

your soulmark has been chosen. the words are now appearing on your right arm. when you find your soulmate, your arm will feel like it is in an ice bath and the words will disappear. if your soulmate dies, the words will scramble.

'oh no' i think to myself

and i peek at my arm

it's the entire bee movie scripts in all caps.

my entire arm is covered in ink

and went to school the next day

and went to class

we sat there for about a minute in awkward silence
