i was currently on a plane to canada from america as an exchange student !!

thankfully i was able to watch some yt on the plane

and as i opened youtube i started scrolling mindlessly

smii7y huh. i think ive heard of him. i clicked one of his videos

it was a cod warzone video

i started watching and noticed the guy sitting next to me watching with an amused look on his face

"do you wanna watch too?"

"sure" he shrugged and took an airpod

i laughed a lot at the video

it was pretty funny

until my phone battery was on 10%

so he offered to use his phone

he opened his phone

to youtube

"wait..." i said

"yes?" he asked with a laugh subdued

"YOURE SMII7Y??"

"maybe" he grinned

"YOU COULDVE TOLD ME"

"well it was kinda funny"

i sighed dramatically, slightly embarrassed

the plane was landing anyways

and i took an uber to get home to my new roommates

their names were jaren and matt

as soon as i got to the house there was only one guy at the house

this was matt

"hey, uh y/n right? i'm matt" he introduced himself

"yeah, so um where's jaren?" i asked

"he was on a plane back from dc, he should be arriving soon."

"i just came from dc..."

"you mightve seen him then" matt shrugged

another car pulled up and jaren stepped out of the car

"well hello person i did not already totally meet" he greeted

"yes you already met me smii7y" matt chuckled jokingly

"hello smii7y" i groaned still slightly embarrassed

he laughed

and we all went inside

it's been a month since i moved in with them and just studying abroad

matt and jaren have been teaching me how to make youtube videos

so i became a part time youtuber and part time student

and i gathered a surplus of followers
about 250k

it was pretty cool

until smii7y was streaming on twitch one day

and i came into the room not knowing

thankfully he doesnt use face cam while streaming

because i was in a sweatshirt and sweatpants holding a bowl of lucky charms

looking like shit because i was tired

"what game is that im blind" i said from the doorway

his chat blew up

donation- "is that g/t?? do you guys live together? are you dating??"

donation- "hi g/t you and smii7y are so cute"

chat was spamming lots of ship names

my face was now a bright poppy red

"CHAT WE'RE NOT DATING" smii7y quickly said 

i could see a tint of red on his cheeks

donation- "g/t face reveal when?"

"mm maybe later" i said

donation- "g/t do face reveal now pls it's my birthday"

"happy birthday and it depends if smii7y wants to turn on the face cam"

oh god chat went crazy asking him to turn on his face cam

"im not turning on the face cam chat"

donation- "you and g/t should date"

"maybe" he said

"maybe??" i asked, looking at him

he smiled a little

"maybe"

it was my turn to smile

i pecked him on the cheek

"keep dreaming"

he muted his stream

"but this isnt a dream" he said as he kissed me

my heart literally ran out of my chest

and we started dating :)

poor matt has to be third wheel
