| Chapter 73: Baby Blue Tulips

Sandra's POV

I keep reminding myself that it is not like I am proposing for a wedding... but this girl makes me wrap around her finger, and I am on the edge to jump on the cliff for her, only if she asks me to.

It's been a year... a whole year of her chasing me, and when destiny makes a fool of us, I tried to believe that it was just a slip of a warm wedge and declined the impossible relationship that I don't know will be my opportunity to feel love.

Our journey is...A lot! Novel is... A full Package! I never knew a girl like her will be who I want to be with.

Before: I will be caught dead by just her teasing or throwing banter against me, but now it is far from before... it's unbelievable

As I know her better, I notice that she's very different, a good different, she's valiant and so charismatic, every aspect of her fills what's dark in me, she's my other half, I know it's twee but... I love her

I feel the love with Novel, it's the type of feeling where it is not urged, or sudden, its a Love that blooms through time as if the ride through it will help us get the thing we need when we're totally in for it, our age difference is just a reminder that Love has no age, our gender says Love could be anything, our circumstances proved that love is not just a chemical inside your brain, love is unnoticed yet blinding but at the same time the person you're in love with will also make you see the unseen... The irony is what makes Love hard to explain and the start of it will remain history that rooted for the blossom, Love is great

That's why I wanted her, I want Novel, and that's why I am determined to make her my Girlfriend and finally call her Mine, and mine only. Novel... as my girlfriend...

Butterflies fluttering in my stomach by just calling her my girlfriend in my head... it's not just a normal thing for her to be my girlfriend, cause it's the seal of another chapter in our relationship, and imagining her with me and calling her my Girlfriend feels my heart have this tickling sensation and I feel my body floating, she makes me feel like I'm in heaven by her being inside my head

I told Sarah about it, and she's far more than ecstatic than me, she told this to her wife and one day after school hours I tell it to Tally, which surprise her and when I ask her to help me she told me that she will be thinking about it first which I understand... I know how she was hurt by what I did to my Novel

But after that day Crystal calls me in the morning and says she wanted to meet me in the restaurant, I was shocked to see her with Shawn, and I know they're still working to put back their friendship... when I sit I am glad there's no tension anymore, but the little guiltiness in me dragged along by the existence of Shawn so I tried my best to lift my mood up

"Miss- I mean Sandra" Tally greeted and surprisingly give me a hug, which I accepted by tapping her back slightly, Shawn acknowledge me with a little 'hi'

"So I know the next day will be the prom... and we've been thinking—" she inhale deeply and look at Shawn, "Sandra, we'll agree to help you— but on one condition," she said frantically in a nervous tone "Okay, thank you crystal, and what condition do I need to comply" I reply happily "more like 'to top more' as it was" Shawn spoke as I raise my left brow "Elise is, uhm— she has a plan like yours too," Crystal said sheepishly as both of my brows almost shoot on my hairline "wow..." I exhale

"So why you decided to help me and go on her back?" I ask softly in confusion as both look at each other and practically squeal as if they shifted into whole different people, this is Crystal and Shawn that is goofy and Who carries the YOLO motto

Crystal squealed and grinned at me "So we decided to make this a plot-" and then Shawn cut her off with the same excitement "Novel will think that she'll be the one proposing to you-" then Crystal barged in "Yet you'll be the one proposing at the end-"

"And making her the happiest girl on planet Earth!" They end in unison grinning at me like a half-wit

I grab the glass of juice and take a sip, I then gulp loudly together by inducing all the information they told me, Tally and Shawn were still grinning and blinking... it's funny, but I retain my flustered face, meaning I got what they mean but I am still confused

"So you're saying, we make Novel believe she's proposing to me, but I am the one who will propose to her?"

"Now you sound as if we're suggesting you propose to her!" Tally chuckled 

"No! I mean... It's my idea, but-" I puff a breath as the two shake their head "Don't worry, we're willing to help so tell us what you need and we can help with planning" Shawn suggested and with that, we agree and started to plan, 

We somehow clash ideas, but end up fixing it, and I'm more than satisfied I ask Shawn to discreetly ask Novel on what color of a tulip she wants, he said it's up to him and later that evening he gave me an answer... Baby blue tulips.
