Novel's POV

(Present time)

The Plan got cancelled... 

That was what Shawn said before cutting the line, I can't believe those receptionists he hired are mugglers, they scam us! They run away and disappeared like a ghost, they just fucking ruin my mood!

"Novel, don't let those fuckers ruin your mood, ok?" Crystal try to keep me calm through our ride as I am fighting the urge to cry "They ruined my plan, Tally. They fucking ruined this night" I mumble as she shush me "Shhh, Sandra will be sad if she will notice that anger and sadness on your face" she said as I inhale deeply "It'll be fine... maybe we can re-plan it after graduation" Crystal said while patting my back as I nod, I won't let any scumbags ruined my intention!!

Crystal helped me divert my attention to others like how she mentioned... Like how may Sandra drool because of what I'm wearing, But I bet Sandra would kneel before me if she saw me wearing nothing, LOL trying to boost my confident cause I know when I see her my senses would go off through the window.

"Ladies, we're here" Dad announce before stepping out first on his side to open our door for us. When we stepped out my eyes instantly glanced at the entrance where students are already greeting their peers and advisers. Teachers also dress elegantly as we come into terms of diversity, a freedom and a fun night for all the teachers and students.

Crystal and I walk to the entrance and suddenly all the eyes are on us, as if we're celebrities and cameras are everywhere, we pose for a few pictures before making our way to the elevator where a man in a tuxedo greeted us, we hand him our badges as he assisted us until we reach the 3rd floor, where the school rented it whole for us seniors, and for some reason my eyes scan the place to find a certain brunette, but I was out of luck and instead saw Shawn heading to us with sad feature "I'm sorry, Elise I swear-" he's already fidgeted while approaching us so I cut him short "Shawn, why you didn't check it before, you know I want this to be perfect and I am so excited about it but now it ruined, but I'm not blaming you, it's just that— I am really frustrated" I rant as he nods, I know we can't do anything about it except to retake the plan, even though it is not the perfect plan anymore so I just have to let this go.

"Guys, this is prom! now we have to forget that for a while and have some fun!!!" Crystal pushes us to the crowd and the music blasted in our ears, everyone is having fun except me, I can't find her, my neck is almost stiff glancing everywhere, but I can't see her.

I rounded the corners to pick some appetizers, they have tuna flakes and a fancy bread with filling on it.

I grab a shot of wine and took a sip on it, the event is well organized and the principal finally ushered student to their own table and chair that is already group, the host started to go through the ceremony and assist us to our part, which is to dance, I didn't participated though, as I find it suck but not until Crystal drag me out from the area and to a close area... "What are you doing?" she hiss as I roll my eyes "oh I'm trying to have fun" I mumble sarcastically as she sigh "Novel, if you can't have fun then I  guess we have to head home" she suggest as I look at her "Well, I know you're having fun, and I don't want you to drag me out of here just to convince me to go home so I could bring you misserably on my state" I gramble as she shake her head "No you're not, so better wait here I have to grab my purse" she then left for a seconds and when she comeback she ushered me to the elevator...

I close my eyes and inhale deeply "Have you seen Sandra?" I ask 

"No, I haven't" 

"I... I am still looking forward to seeing her though, even the plan got smashed out" I said "Don't worry, one thing I'm sure of is that she's already yours," Crystal replied that make me smile
