| Chapter 23: 1st sleep over

Novel's POV

I flop down in my bed and sigh staring blankly at the ceiling, a beep of my phone bring me back to the universe and see Sandra's chat

Sandy Pie: meet me at starbucks café at exact 4:15 P.M.

... I wonder if she's not busy anymore, of course she is as always, she has a huge responsibility at her hand, as a DepEd head and a teacher in college and seniors-

I prepare myself- but not so fancy... just a jeans skirt, cold blue t-shirt with a minimalist rainbow on it's left chest, my hair is up for pony tail, guess this shows off how gay I am to her, LOL

I headed down stares to see mama already arrive from work "Where's the night out, Ellise?" she ask as I walk to wrap my arms around her, I pull away and say "Mom, I will stay the night with Sandra, she needs me now, if it's okay with yah?" I ask,

I know I'm already old enough to make my own decision but she still my mother and I'm under my Parent's roof so to tell it short 'RESPECT is a must'

"Aww, my sweet vellie, Ok now go and say hi to her for me" she grin as I furrow my eyebrows and walk to the door

"And, Novel" my mom stop me as I turn my head to her "Do your best, But keep safe" she said and wink as I was about to say a word a honk of the car get my attention...

Ughh there is the familiar black car as she rolls down the window "I thought we'll be meeting at starbucks" I ask as I hop in her car and she roll her eyes, "Ugh Stop rolling your eyes" I pout like a child "then stop pouting" she sternly command as I giggle and she smile before a sigh escape her lips, she start again the engine before pulling out from our yard

Drive was silent until I manage to turn on her radio "Gush No one touch my aid" she say frowning as the song "halo, by Beyonce" take off the comfortable silent, I smile gush I Love this Queen- Beyonce

Sandra Bullock's POV

"Gush I love this queen" she mumbly whisper as I stiffen "beyonce" she complete and I smile bitterly

Wow! What was that Sandra??? Don't act bitter!!

I drive and listen to the song

My thought relate to the song as what am I thinking about this lady beside me, There's a red light and I turn my head to Novel who is listening to the music, smiling to the road as I hum and the green light pup and I sing along from the heart

She notice my look and she smile to me and sing the next part "It's like I've been awaken, every rule I had you break it, It's the risk that I'm taking, I ain't never shut you out" as she sadly smile now looking away from me

We walk back to the sala as I heard her clear throat "I'll cook, ready your speech" and it made me froze, Fuck I'm so greatful for her to be here that I almost forget this purpose, daaaamn Sandra!!!
