When I finally opened my eyes and looked at the clock, I saw it was after 12:30 p.m. Thankfully, today was my day off. My parents and brother are already at work.

My parents work at the hospital in the admissions and IT offices. Since they have retired beta and female beta of the pack. So, I had the entire house to myself.

I saw I had several messages and missed calls on my phone. One call from each of my parents and a text from each. Four calls from Korbin and several texts from him as well.

From Mom: Hey sweetie, my shift was early today. I am working till after dinner. Love you. (7:22 a.m.)

From Dad: Hey there was an issue with the IT Department at the hospital. I had to go to it early with your mother. I left my car here for you. If you need anything, just call me or your mother. Love you. (7:30 a.m.)

From Korbin: Good Morning Sylvie! (8:15 a.m.)

From Korbin: Hey, are you awake? (8:56 a.m.)

From Korbin: What are you up to? (9:21 a.m.)

From Korbin: Sylvie are you ok? Why aren't you answering me? (11:50 a.m.)

From Korbin: Hey, I am just checking in to see if you are ok. You have responded to any of my other messages. I don't know if I should do I house call or send the Alpha to check on you. Please text me or something. I am worried about you. (12:10 p.m.)

Wow, I really seemed to have worried about everyone. Not only did I worry about my parents, but I also worried about Korbin, too. Those weren't my intentions. I was just so tired I was asleep. So, I texted Korbin back and let him know what was going on.

To Korbin: Hey Korbin, it's me, Sylvie. I have been having trouble sleeping lately. Last night was worse than other nights. I am sorry for worrying about you. I am ok. I promise. (12:36 p.m.)

To Mom: It's ok mom, love you have a wonderful day. (12:38 p.m.)

To Dad: It's ok dad, love you have a terrific day. (12:40 p.m.)

From Mom: Love you too. Have a good day.

From Dad: Have a good day. Enjoy your day off. Love you, kid.

KORBIN

When I woke up this morning, I went for a run like I normally do. Then I used to meet the guys and we would go for breakfast before work. They are warriors and work on patrols. I work at my uncle's law office in town. It's cool. And I have learned a lot.

So, before work, I hit the gym. But I also sent several messages to Sylvie. When she hadn't responded to me, I was worried. I called her a few times and messaged several. I was just a little worried.

I know I shouldn't be worried about her. But there is something about this girl that is just driving me crazy. Jax, my wolf, says it's in my head and that she isn't my second chance mate or anything. He doesn't believe that we have one, because of how I have turned out to be.

Which is probably a good thing. There will be no one with me. I need to stop doing what I am doing and straighten my life out. I know I need help, but I'm too stupid to get it.

Sylvie finally texted me; she apparently has been having trouble sleeping at night. She isn't the only one. I sleep maybe 3-4 hours at night. She could have called me; I would have talked to her till she got tired enough to go to sleep.
