~CHAPTER 30~

BROCK

My kids are all growing up so much. The twins Thor and Paisley are 20-years-old now and Oakley is 18-years-old now. They are all growing so fast. Paisley and Alex are together.

Oakley paired up with Nick at an early age. Then Thor, his mate Julia. Who turned out to be the missing Laila.

It seems like a lifetime ago when Sylvie and I had three babies running around the house. Now they are living on their own and creating families of their own.

I am sitting in my office with Sylvie. We just finished going over some details for the transition ceremony for Thor and Julia. However, Julia has thrown in a curveball for Thor.

She wants to be known by her birth first name. She said her mother picked it out for a reason and she wants to use it. We are going to honor her request. She also has a surprise for my son.

"Babe, you ready to step down from being Alpha, and just be a dad and hopefully grandpa some day?" Sylvie asked.

"Why, yes, I am. What about you Luna?" I asked her.

"Yes, I am. Honestly, I have been ready." I told her. "Just think, this time tomorrow evening, Thor and Julia will be the new Alpha and Luna of Black Hawk.

"Babe, I am ready for us to take on our next role. Whether it is just former Alpha and Luna; mom and dad; or grandma and grandpa. It doesn't matter to me. Hell, we could go travel the world if you want to. But we could just stay here and be without family and watch them grow into a bigger one." Sylvie said.

"You know what, love? I agree with you 100%. Let's head home. It's late and you need dinner. I also still want to ravish you before you go to bed tonight, love." I tell her as I kiss her neck and she moans.

"Dinner can always wait, babe." She said.

THOR

Today is the day of the Alpha and Luna coronation ceremony. I can't believe that Julia and I are becoming the pack's Alpha and Luna today. It feels like we have been waiting an eternity for this day to come.

Julia has been acting weird for the past couple of days. I hope she is just nervous about the whole ceremony this evening. We both got up this morning and hurried through our morning routine.

Because my mother wanted to see Julia. My father wanted to talk to me. That is where we are going now.

"Should I be worried about what your mother has in store for me today?" Julia asked me. I chuckled and shook my head.

"No love, she is harmless with the ones she loves. I know for a while that my mother loves you. Besides, I bet she just wants to help you get ready for tonight." I said. She sighed.

"You're probably right. I am stressing out and over-reacting. I just need to calm down." She said. I pulled her into a hug and kissed her temple.

"Love, everything is going to work out. I just know it. Besides, I think you need this time with my mom. It would be good for you!" I told her. "I love you!"

"You're right and I love you too." She said as we walked into the pack house and headed into my parents' office.

We walked into my parent's office and saw them sitting down at their desk with one elder. Elder Declan was sitting in the office. The Elders usually come for weddings of the Alpha and Luna and transition of titles.

I want to marry Julia; I do. But she is nowhere near ready for that step in our relationship and I know that. But I don't know if she wants to marry me. That is the million-dollar question. I have been wanting to ask her, but haven't gotten the opportunity to ask.
