~CHAPTER 7~

BROCK

I was walking in town today, and I smelled the most amazing scent today. It was faint. Every time I went near or into the bookstore it was there, but it was faint. She must shop there or work there.

But she is never there when I go there. One day, I will find this place. I need to. She is my second chance. Hopefully, she will accept me. What Christi put me through is enough to cause a wolf to kill themselves. I am still surprised that Braxton didn't have me killed.

------FLASHBACK------

"Christi, you, and Madison are being sentenced to death for the attack and for the Kidnapping of your Alpha-Luna. What do you have to say for yourselves?" Alpha Braxton asked them. Christi laughed while Madison had a sincere look on her face.

"It was Christi's idea. She told me I had to do it, or she would kill my parents." Madison said. Christi shrugged her shoulders.

"Whatever, she deserved it anyway. She came here and stole my man. He was supposed to be mated with me. Not her." Christi said.

"Christi, you're full of it. You already had a mate. It was another alpha from another pack. You have been toying with him for two-years. You are just pissed because he is smart and used his brain and came forward and brought the Luna home." Alpha Braxton said.

"It was my pathetic mate. I am going to kill him." Christi said.

"Actually, no you won't, Because I rejected you, Steven, my wolf, already rejected you and yours. We no longer feel any connection to you. Therefore, I am no longer your mate." I said.

"I, Brock Lewis Adams, reject you Christi Cook as my mate." I said. Steven was jumping in relief.

"AHHH.." Christi screamed. "No, you can't do this to me."

"I think I just did!" I said.

"Ugh, this really hurts. How could you reject me? I am Luna material?" Christi said. Madison chuckled.

"I know I am going to die, so here it goes. Christi, you are a pack slut. You have slept with just about every wolf in the next three packs. I am surprised you don't have any pups yet." Madison said. "My made rejected me because he slept with you." Christi laughed. Two big black wolves join us and walk in between the girls and growls..

"Elder Alpha Royce and Elder Alpha Kade, thank you for joining us." Braxton said.

Royce and Kade nodded. Next thing you know, they are ripping the girls to pieces. They don't take kidnapping and threats on the lives of an Alpha/Luna's lightly. Once they were dead, they went and shifted. They came out with shorts on.

"Zeke Roy, you are being punished by death for your part in this. What do you have to say for yourself?" Alpha, Kade said.

"Go to hell!" Zeke said.

The same two wolves stalked towards him. They each surrounded him before then attacked him. Ripping him to threads.

"Let justice be served for Alpha-Luna Nova." Alpha Kade proclaimed. Everyone erupted in cheers.

"Thank you both." Braxton said.

"Alpha Brock Lewis Adams. We would like a word with you." Alpha Royce said. Brock gulped, and he looked scared.

"Don't worry, young man, you're not in trouble. Alpha Braxton and Alpha-Luna Nova told us what you did. We applaud you and we commend you. Having a mate like that is terrible. May the moon goddess bless you with a second chance. If anyone deserves it; it would be you young man." Alpha, Kade said.
