~CHAPTER 33~

THOR

I still can't believe that Laila/Julia and I have become mates, gotten married, and are expecting a baby. Life seems so surreal and like a fairytale. I am far from complaining.

I am looking at my wife as she is reading to the kids in the orphanage, and it warms my heart. She is natural at it. She has already handled so many issues and conflicts since she took over as Luna.

She is a natural born leader. I love her more and more every day. She is fierce and takes everything naturally. I received a mind-link from my dad:

BROCK: Hey son, can you stop by the house? I want to talk to you about something.

THOR: Sure dad, I will be there in a few minutes.

I left my mate at the orphanage so she could tutor the children. I knew she was safe there. Then I headed over to my parents' house, which wasn't too far away from it. The pack house, orphanage and my parents' house are all close together.

"Hey dad" I said. He looked at me, a determined but concerned look on his face.

BROCK

I am sitting in the office at the house drinking coffee. Knowing the Wade, the man who was a person of interest in Kobe's death. But there were no directions to where he or Vanessa went.

Here they were, just a few towns over. Raising Kobe and Harlowe's daughter as their own. I had to do something. So, I mind-linked my son:

'Hey son, can you stop by the house? I want to talk to you about something.' My dad mind-linked me.

'Sure dad, I will be there in a few minutes.' I told him.

About ten minutes later, my son Thor walked into my home office. He gave me a worried looked. He knew I was up to something.

"Hey Dad!" Thor said. I smiled.

"Hey son, sit. We need to talk!" I told him. He gave me a confused look.

"Ok? Did I do something that you nor approve of in the last few days since I took over dad?" He asked. I laughed and shook my head.

"Oh, no, it has nothing to do with that. Listen, It's about Wade Hart." I said.

"What about that man? Other than he tried to sell my Luna, my wife, for drugs." He said.

"Well, we need to talk to the Luna now about what we are going to do with him. Because we have proof that he killed her father." I told him.

"Seriously?" He asked. I mind-liked Laila:

THOR: Hey babe, can you come to my dad's home office? My dad and I need to talk to you about something? It's really important.

LAILA: Sure, I was going to head to find you anyway for lunch. Be there in a few minutes.

"I mind-linked her and asked her to join us to talk, dad." He said.

"Good idea. She should be here to discuss this." I said. There was a knock on the door. "Enter." Laila comes into the room.

"Hi, you said you both wanted to talk to me. Have I done something wrong?" She asked nervously.

"Of course, not babe. Dad wants to talk to you about Wade and Vanessa." Thor said.

"Why do you want to talk about the Hart's? They were my adoptive family." She said.
