21 ~ Eerie

The two small broken lights hanging from the ceiling above me flick on causing me to flinch back with my eyes shut. The light eliminated the pure darkness that was filled in the room

I slowly open my eyes. I felt them burn. A blurry figure comes into view, slowly approaching towards me.

"What an unpleasant surprise dear." The person whisperes bending down, leveling his height with me. "You've survived! I thought after all this you wouldn't." The person says surprised

"P-- please let me go." I plead. The person lets out an evil chuckle upon hearing my plead. "Why are you doing this to me? Wh-- what I do to you?" I question stuttering, exhaustion and weakness making me unstable. The person's smirk fades away and the person furrows upon hearing my question.

"You are asking me that question?" The person says in disbelief. "Wow! How can you forget so easily?" The person questions. I could tell anger was consuming the person. "You might have forgotten, but I did not. And I will not forget what you did to me so easily till I succeed in what I desire." The person whispers. I could tell how much hatred was filled in that person towards me.

"P...please!" Was the only thing I could say before falling unconscious again

After gaining consciousness, I open my eyes with difficulty that felt heavy with pain

The same person appears in front of my eyes who was seated on the chair with an arm resting on the chair's arm and a leg stretched out

"I gave you time to think about it." He sternly speaks not moving his eyes that were fixed on the ground

"I-- I wo-won't d--" I try to speak but he cuts me in between

"You will do it!" He speaks harshly and his rage filled eyes meet mine

Those eyes, that anger, the hatred... all seemed somewhat familiar to me, but I failed to recognize

"No" I whisper weakly yet confidently

A smirk appears on his face and he leans back, getting himself seated on the chair

"It's up to you." He shrugs casually. "You will either do it, or you will lose it." He speaks pointing a knife to me

"And if you lose it, you will never be able to get it back." He whispers with a confidential smirk on his face

"L--lose wha.." I trail off at the end as my weakness didn't let me complete my sentence

"You'll find out babe! But just know... You have to do it for Hussain!" He adds in and my heart sinks down to my stomach

His name was enough to send shivers down my spine, make my insides do a backflip, affect me, and even enough for me to change my decision

"Hussain...." A mere painful whisper escapes my lips and I shut my eyes

I miss you so much Hussain! I can't afford to risk your life...

I open my eyes and seeing the answer hidden in my eyes, the person's smirk grows deeper...
