New girl-Jeongin(part 1)

You and Jeongin have been best friends ever since pre-k and now your in your senior year. But, recently you have been starting to gain feelings for him. You tried to push it away, but his beautiful smile always gave you butterflies.

One day the teacher announces that there will be a new student named Lee Haeyoung. You were excited because of the thought of being friends with her. You didn't really have a lot of friends until you found jeongin one day crying in an empty classroom. I was so happy to find out that he was my neighbor!

As soon as the teacher introduces the new student she comes into the class and introduces herself. Not going to lie but she was really pretty. Her eyes instantly meet jeongins, but he quickly breaks the contact and side eyes you.

The teacher tells her to sit a few seats away from me and Jeongin.
"Teacher is it okay if I sit next to him? I don't really like where I'm sitting." Haeyoung says as she points to the chair I'm sitting in.
The teacher then tells me to to move and I look at Jeongin who seems to have a disappointed look on his face. Literally as soon as haeyoung sits down she's starts to get all touchy with jeongin. She starts to giggle and starts to comb his hair. Jeongin didn't look amused and looked more annoyed but he still managed to put on a fake smile.

Haeyoung then looks at me and shows me a smirk.I just looked away and continued doing my work

(During lunch)
I was buying food as usual for me and jeongin and went to bring him his food, but just about when I was going to get to him Haeyoung gets to him first. She quickly wrapped her arms around him and brought him to her table.

I couldn't stand another chance looking at them so I walked over to their table. "Jeongin I got your favorite! Sashimi!"you exclaim while showing him the food.
Before he could get up Haeyoung grabs his shoulders and sits him back down. "I'm sorry, but Jeongin is already hanging out with me. And plus I made him onigiri with beans!" She then pouts and hugs jeongin around the neck.
You know jeongin hates beans, but he didn't even do anything! He just say there looking at me. I rolled my eyes and left. I then went outside, behind the school, and sat on the floor and ate the sashimi that was supposed to be jeongins.
(Time skip to right after school ends)

At least me and Jeongin get to walk home together. Or so I thought. I was near the school gate waiting for Jeongin. From afar I see Jeongin running towards me with a big smile on his face. I wasn't the only one who saw Jeongin. Haeyoung did too. She ran to him with a big smile and jumped on his back. Jeongin stumbled and showed a annoyed smile. "Hello jeonginnie~~~" she said in a baby voice. I could tell that Jeongin cringed at the nickname and so did I.
"Let's walk home together." She then grabbed his wrist and dragged him with her. I then decided to just walk home by myself.

"Y/n!" Jeongin said while watching me walk away.
"Don't worry about y/n. Just let her walk alone." She then dragged Jeongin with her.
(A few minutes later~~~~)

As I got home I see Haeyoung and Jeongin in front of Jeongins house. Before haeyoung hugged him goodbye he quickly pushed her, showed a fake smile, and closed the door in her face. Not even a minute after he got inside his house he started bombarding me with messages.

(Time skip to morning)
I do my usual school routine and head outside to wait for Jeongin. After a few minutes and notice that he hasn't come out of his house yet, so I knock on his door. "Hello y/n!" His mom happily says.
"Hi mrs. yang! I was just wondering if Jeongin is here!" I saw with a big smile.
"He already left with another girl. I think her name was haeyoong? Oh! Haeyoung!" She says
"Oh ok thank you! I'll see you soon" I say.
As soon as she closes the door my smile fades.

I guess it's back to walking to school alone. Of course I see haeyoung and Jeongin together when I get inside the home room. I usually sit near the front of the class, but today I decide to sit at the back so that I don't have to see them together. Once I sit down I notice this brown haired boy sitting in the desk next to me. I never noticed him in this class. When he looked at me he me showed puppy eyes.
"Are you new here?" I ask.
"No. I've been in this class as long as you. It's just that I'm really introverted."
"Oh really? Well then... I'm y/n" I reply while I stick my hand out
"I'm seungmin." He says as he shakes my hand. His smile is beautiful
"Well, my friend left me with another girl, so would you like to eat lunch with me?" I ask.
"Sure" he says.

(Time skip to lunch)
As the bell rings I quickly pack up my papers and pens. And as I was about to leave the classroom I see seungmin sleeping calmly on his desk. He looks like sleeping beauty.

I wake him up by lightly shaking his shoulder. His eyes flutter open and his smile shows again. I tell him that it's time for lunch.  When me and Seungmin  are walking to the cafeteria I see Jeongin and haeyoung. Jeongin looked confused when he saw me walking with seungmin. When me and Jeongin are in class we mostly talk with our eyes. So I gave jeongin a "you literally left me for her so..." look.

The rest of lunch me and seungmin walked around the school Campus. Turns out that he's a really smart guy.

After a few days we got to know each other more. I told him about the situation between me and jeongin. He gave me advice and told me to start talking to him again despite haeyoung. Seungmin and haeyoung actually used to go to the same school together and did the same thing with him and his old girl best friend. I took his advice and went to talk to Jeongin during lunch break to try to resolve this whole situation.

I saw Jeongin from afar putting his things away in his locker so I walk up to him and tap his shoulder. "Hey Jeongin... I was wondering if you had time to talk for a little?"
I waited a couple seconds and thought that he was trying to ignore me?!
"Are you trying to ignore me?"
"Jeongin?"
He didn't even answer but of course haeyoung came and wrapped herself around his arm.
"What are you doing here?" She said.
"I'm trying to talk to my best friend if you wouldn't mind!" "You know I knew him first. It's not like you too are dating."I say fake laughing.
"Oh...y/n... about that" he says looking down.
"You can't be serious right? Please tell me this is a joke!" I say while stepping back a little.
"Well hate to break it to you. Not really. But it's a official whatever your name is." Haeyoung says as she tries to shoo me away.
I couldn't take the anger and take a huge step in front of her and push her a little. She trips back a little. Then I started to go off on her. Jeongin tried to get me off but I push him off and continue. I wasn't gonna let her take away my only best friend.

Jeongin couldn't help but result to almost hitting me before seungmin came and took me away...
