Anything But Neutral (House of Gold mock-up)

Preface

Thank you for reading! I decided to write this mock-up of House of Gold by DrewDanisLuv for several reasons. I very much enjoyed reading House of Gold  for its dry humor and fast-paced nature. Everything is up for interpretation, right? 

I have so much to say before you get into this fanfic, but I'll keep it to a few explanations:

Why is the cover of this book so awful? - I edited it in Adobe Express (the primitive version of Photoshop lite), and I don't think Wattpad likes it when I use anything that isn't Canva. 

Why is it called Anything But Neutral? - Who gives a shit? I could have named it 'Shart Town' and slapped on this same blurred picture of Seattle and it would have given the same effect. It's aesthetic. I did, however, use this name for a reason: they're always on two extremes - fighting or having sex. How deep is that?

Why are you writing about Danny Gonzales and Drew Gooden? - Because I think it is funny. I also am sexually attracted to men. I'll mention later on somewhere that I am not sexually attracted to either of these men, but come on. I wrote a gay fanfiction about them. My reasoning is that I like men, and I thought the concept of rewriting a famous (z-list celebrity) fanfiction was interesting. I was heavily inspired by DrewDanisLuv's writing.

What is this fanfiction about? - A lot of stuff. I want to mention before you start reading this: politics do matter, believe it or not even in this fanfiction about two YouTubers, I still believe that politics are important. So, in several scenes a cop is present, and while rereading I started to notice that he was becoming a 3-dimensional character with emotions. I didn't like that, so I took a good portion of the cop interactions out. I do not like police. Who would have guessed the gay fanfic writer didn't like police? Mind-blowing.

One more thing to add: throughout this novel, it was difficult for me to picture Drew and Danny performing some of these acts, and saying some of these lines. I do think the majority of this novelette (is that a word? What the fuck does that mean?) is fairly accurate, but when the physical bodies of these two characters are being described, there is a high chance of inaccuracy. In my mind, these are faceless male body fantasies rather than the two YouTubers I love watching so much.
