An Unexpected Fate

Chapter 10: Shasta

Shasta's P.O.V. :

      Rose and I were sitting at the table playing a card game while the others were either watching tv or on their phone. Suddenly the phone rings, rose ignores it but I look straight towards the phone, Cason answers it.

"Hello" Cason answered

"Hello sir this is the Makenville police station, we were recently called and we wanted to make sure everything was alright" the
"Yeah" he replied and hung up.

       A sudden rush of fear flew over me, *could Rose hear what the lady said, because I just did* My breathing started to get short I tried hiding it by holding my breathe not trying to show them that I just heard that. Cason gave rose and I a dark glare, *shit shit fucking shit*

"What's wrong" I asked Cason. He ignored me and looked towards Winter and slowly walks towards him.

"Take Shasta to the torture room" he whispered into his ear while glancing over towards us. *Thank god for my great hearing, he thinks I can't hear his whispers, what an idiot. Wait what did he just say!?*

"Shasta follow me" Winter demanded

"Why"

"Because I said so" he replied. I sighed with a slight smirk, *I'm ready for what ever they have in store for me, these guys are weak bitches* I leave Rose behind but she just stared at us with a questioning look and got up and sat down on the couch next to Ben.

Winter opens the door to the torture room, I walk in with my arms crossed.

"Stay here I'll be right back" he explained
"Where can I go I'm already in here dumb ass" I replied. He just sighed and walked out closing the door behind him.

-2 minutes later-

Casper walked in with a pissed off face.

"So shasta, did rose tell you about the baby" he questioned me
"You bet your ass bitch she's my friend why wouldn't she fuck face" I snapped at him. He quickly punched me in the face.
"You hit like a girl" I yelled at him while holding my cheek, he quickly reacted with a punch to my stomach. I felt my breathe being knocked out, with a stinging sensation. He chuckled a little and kicked my ankle really hard. I fall and yelp to the ground with tears quickly filling my eyes but I was trying to hide them so I don't show him my weakness while he continued to kick my stomach.

"What the fuck are you doing in here" Winter exclaims while bursting through the door
"Nothing" he replied and stoping and turning around
"Nothing my ass why the fuck is she crying what the fuck did you do, that's not even your job, it's my job plus you were assigned to Rose" he exclaimed. I could hear pain in his voice.

        Xavier runs into the the room from hearing all the commotion.  He quickly pushes through Winter and Casper and runs towards me while I slightly sob in a curled up ball. He's picks me up bridal style in his big arms and carries me into his room and whispers "it's going to be alright". He lies me down on his bed and walks into his bathroom, I hear the pouring of water into a bath. He walks out and helps me limp towards the bathroom. He turns around closing his eyes signaling me to get in the bath. I strip down and sit in with my knees to my chest so that he doesn't see anything. He grabs a cup  and fills it with the bath water and slowly pours it over my head. Then takes the shampoo and and starts to wash the blood out of my hair while massaging my head at the same time.

-10 minuets later-

         Xavier is finally done helping me take a bath, although I did greatly enjoy it. He walks out and returns with a towel and pajamas from Rose and I's closet and walks out so I can get ready. I look up at the mirror to see the scars and bruises all around my body, the beating flashes through my mind, I snap back to reality and try to quickly get dressed and limped out to Xavier's bed, I climbed in as he returns with an ankle brace, he's so sweet. He puts it on my ankle and lays down with me as I slowly fall asleep in his arms. I hope Rose is okay
