An Unexpected Fate

Chapter 36: A True Family

-Your P.O.V-

The pain was excruciating, my body felt like it had fever aches but 10 times worse. Every bone in my body felt like it broke. I looked at my bloodied arm as I laid there on the floor. Maze and Chris ran towards me.

"Y-Y/N are you okay" Chris asked

"Does it look like I'm okay I just got fucking shot Chris!!" I yelled

Maze looked over at Chance still aiming at us.

"Now Chance don't make any more mistakes now" Maze declared

Chance just stared ready to pull the trigger.

Chris began to apply pressure to my wound hoping it would stop the bleeding.

"What do you want for gods sake what" I yelled

Still no response

Chris and Maze helped me up the stairs and out of the basement as Chance still kept the gun pointed at us. He must be in some type of shock. As we made it up the stairs into my room Chris pulled out the suit case from atop of my closet shelf.

"Start packing..I'm getting you out of this crazy house" Chris demanded.

Chris began to take some shirts out of my closet while Maze took all my skinny jeans and shorts from my drawers.I walked over to my vanity and began to pack up my makeup quickly.

When we finished packing the sun was beginning to rise. We got Maze's hand bandaged and my arm as well I checked my alarm clock to see it was 6:09 am.

We walked out of the house like nothing had happened and jumped into Chris's car.

The ride was silent.

"So how do you know my name" Maze asked

"This might sound strange, but I met you in my coma" I said

"When were you in a coma" he asked

"They just recently released me from the hospital" I replied

"Sooo what about you, who are you" Maze turns towards Chris.

"I'm y/n's boyfriend" Chris replied

"Okay so are you guys going to take me back from where I came or what" Maze asked again.

Chris sighed heavily.."where do you live" he asked Maze

"Near the downtown area" Maze replied

"Well it looks like your staying with us cause I'm the total opposite way of that so I'll drop you off tomorrow morning" Chris explains

"O-Okay" Maze replied with no power or authority

-6:45am-

We finally arrived at Chris's house. I always felt at ease whenever I visit here, like a homey vibe. We walked in with my bags and no one was home.

"I guess they went somewhere" Chris stated as he set my stuff down.

"So where are we going to sleep"Maze asks

"Um you can sleep in our guest bedroom and Y/N can sleep in my bedroom" Chris smiles

-8:30pm-

Chris showed Maze and I around the house until lunch time and his parents came home with his little sister Emily. They supposedly went to some church thing. Chris explains everything with some lies here and there and his parents were fine with me but said Maze can only be there for the night. Bummer :/

When dinner started we all got to catch up on everything I missed while I was in the coma. Sometimes I feel like they're the family I was supposed to have.

Once dinner was over I played some video game with Emily called Mine craft on her Xbox 360, while Maze and Chris cleaned up dinner.

Once Chris and Maze were done everyone headed to their bedrooms.

I got dressed in some comfy pajama pants and an old t-shirt. I laid in bed while Chris made his own little bed on the floor.

Awe he's being respectful.

"You know you can sleep in your bed with me" I said

"Oh thank god I was waiting for you to say that" Chris said as he threw his pillows on the bed next to me and hoped in.

He wrapped his arms around me in a hug and kissed my head and said goodnight
