"Nah, I'm just saying, hypothetically if you could have a Griever as a pet, would you?" I asked Minho as we sat on the Watchtower together that night.

"Hell yeah!" Minho said, grinning. "It would be so cool."

"Exactly! And I could train it to attack Gally whenever I want it to." I smiled at the thought of that.

"Genius!"

Minho and I continued to talk late into the night until eventually he turned in for the night. I stayed up there a bit longer, staring at the stars.

They looked beautiful, they brung the sky to life. Each one had a different story, something different to tell. They were the most beautiful thing about the Glade. Their beauty outmatched anything that could ever be here - or anywhere else for that matter.

Eventually, I became exhausted so I climbed down the ladder and went to Newt's room. He was already asleep so I stayed as quiet as I could as I got dressed.

"Greenie, get the shuck up!" Gally roughly snatched my duvet from me, causing me to stir slightly.

"Piss off," I mumbled, turning to face away from him.

"You've missed breakfast and you're late for work. Get up." He picked me up, put me on the floor, then threw my clothes at me. "I'm gonna leave the room for two minutes then come back in regardless of if you're dressed or not, so I'd recommend you get changed quickly."

He was true to his word. When he returned, I'd starting brushing my hair and cleaning my teeth, but he stood next to me, making sure I couldn't fall asleep again. Why was Gally always the one to wake me up?

Eventually, we went down to where the Builders worked, Gally extremely pissed.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked.

"Help me repair a roof," he gruffly replied, getting some tools and materials and walking into the forest.

"Where are we going? What's this way? I've never been here before. Is this a trap? Are you leading me to my death? How do you repair a roof? Why-"

"What is this, a million and one questions?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Geez, I was just wondering."

"Yeah, well, it's annoying. Stop."

We reached a small hut after a while of walking. It was quite well-hidden. I had no clue why this was built, but it must be important.

We started by removing the old roof. This gave me a chance to see what this hut was used for; there were drawings chucked about everywhere, harnesses, notebooks, pencils and in a corner there was a pile of lots of small sticks.

"Is this where the Runners disappear off to when they get back every day?" I asked.

"Yes," Gally replied shortly, clearly not happy the questions had started again.

"Well... Why is it hidden?"

"To keep nosy people out of the Runners business."

"Hm. That seems like a dig at me," I smirked.

"Could've been," he shrugged, gathering some materials and organising them. "Anyway, we need to get on."

Eventually, we had finished building. In complete silence, might I add too, since Gally gave me a harsh glare whenever I dared to even open my mouth.

"While we're here, we might as well get some more wood. We're running low," he said.

"Why are we getting it? I thought the Track-Hoes got it?" I questioned, jogging to catch up with Gally, who had already begun walking away with his huge ass strides.
