Just after the clash with the Siren warships.Fregattenkapitän Hans Oels, the Bismarck's XO or Executive Officer, the primary assistant to the captain was tasked with managing the ship and the crew,
Right now, he was below decks, attempting to make contact with the damage control teams below deck.
Underneath the seven inch thick armored deck, were labyrinths upon labyrinths of hallways and stairways to the bottom decks.
Executive officer Oels eventually made it down into the very bottom of the vessel,
The damage control teams, however, were light on work.
There didn't seem to be any damage needing to be fixed, which was strange, because Oels had seen multiple beams make contact with the ship,
The technologically advanced weapons should've made it through the belt armor, right?
Or was the layers of metal too much?
Oels then decided to take a look at the exterior of the ship, and began making his way to the deck.

On the top deck, two sailor were lowered over the sides using a platform held up by pulleys, and was usually used for repainting the vessel in different camouflage schemes,
"Herr Fregattenkapitän! I think found some of the damage!" One of the sailors said, inspecting the side.
"Well, what does it look like? How big is it?" Oels responded.
"Well, it looks like someone burnt a part of the ship, it's hasn't gone through." One of the sailors said.
Oels eventually lowered himself over the side to inspect it himself.
It was not the largest thing, but it looked certainly like something tried to melt through the hull.
However, the belt armor was thick enough to withstand the impact of Battleship-caliber shells, and, judging by the impact here, it failed to make any damage.
*SPOOOSH!
The battleship hit a small wave, crashing against the hull.
Oels was immediately soaked,
Cringing by the horribly cold sensation of freezing water hitting his skin, he hesitated for a bit...
He then looked down at his uniform,
Soaked, completely,
And, there was oil in the water as well,
