Chapter Seven: New Friends

Glen's POV

"Come on can you let go of me already" I hear Troy complained as I drag him to the dining hall that they had instructed us to gather after we put our baggage on our respective rooms.

"Damn I never thought that you are such a very good guy. Did Tobios knock your head that hard that you suddenly became a good boy?" I teased while glancing at him and I saw him groan in annoyance.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I was only trying to impress that girl that's why I had the guts to fight you. If I knew that Tobios would jump and intervene then I shouldn't have challenge you" he said while he pushed my arm on his shoulders as he stares at me.

"Look I am sorry that I fought you back then and I can't get Tobios on my bad side than I am already" he said making me look at him in confusion.

"What are you even talking about I am not in good terms with that guy?" I said while making a disgusted look making him look at me in shock.

"But he helped you that time" he insisted making me give him a bored look.

"Look, stop and listen" I said and he gave me an even more confused expression making me chuckle.

"I am just joking" I teased and he then looks at me angrily.

"So, you are friends then" he said irritated before he immediately tries to walk away.

"Wait! I was just teasing you" I immediately said while stopping him and he just look at me impatiently.

"I don't know why he helped me that day and I don't even want to think about that day because I really want to be your friend" I said while looking at him excitedly.

(I really want him to be my friend since he is the second one who had managed to give me a good fight since of course Tobios was the first one. I haven't seen this guy on any of my class so I guess that he is in some of Tobios class since he kinds of know him) I thought while looking at him.

He was still hesitating making me smile at him widely.

"Look, I will go straight to the point" I said while looking at him seriously and I saw him look at me cautiously.

"I really admire your fighting skills that is why I want to be your friend. I haven't had any other friends aside from those two girls and lately they are teaming up against me, so...." I glance at him and I saw him eyeing me dangerously.

"Look what I said that I need to have a boy—I mean male friend since I really can't stand those two girls" I said while sighing in frustration as I reminisce the prank that those two made.

(They are both allies and I really need someone on my side too besides the two boys back at school) I thought while l looked at Troy and I saw him looking at me with a surprised expression. I stared at him, hopefully waiting for his answer.

"Y----you liked my fighting skills" he said while suddenly smiling widely as he immediately went near me and slung his arms on my neck.

"Wait that's the only thing that you have heard" I said in disbelief while looking at him like is he okay.

(I have said so many things but that's the only thing he heard. Wait I think that I have to re-think my proposal) I thought while staying still thinking if I did the right thing.

"You can't take it back already" he suddenly said making me glance at him and his smiling too bright.

(I thought that I should be the happy one but it suddenly looks like he was even happier. But at least he accepted being friends and now he's enthusiastic and talking with me) I thought while I look at him smiling widely as he suddenly started telling me stories about how he practiced every day.
