Chapter Nineteen: On the Bed

Glen's POV

He was glaring at me while we were both sitting on the couch at the opposite sides.

After I released him, I was about to walk out of the room but he stopped me from doing it.

I was confused but he really looked like he had something to tell making me stopped and I also wanted to know why did he suddenly did that in the first place.

But right now, I'm confused. We both didn't talk with each other and just stare at one another making the atmosphere here to be filled with awkwardness and silence.

It was suffocating to be in but I want to know what he's thinking and even if I would go out, he might stop me again.

I sigh and look away since I can't stand this anymore, the silence is making me deaf.

(I can't take this silence anymore) I thought before I glance at him and I was a bit confused since he was just staring at me when a second ago, he was glaring at me.

"About a while ago—" I started but I stopped when suddenly I remember what happened making me shake my mind to make it disappear.

I glance at him since I know that the person who knows best how did that happen is him, so let him be the one to explain himself.

He suddenly gets the signal since I didn't talk and just stare at him. Like I was giving the hint for him to better explain.

"Uhm... I—that was—" he keeps on stuttering making me curious why did he really do that.

He can't even look at me making me sigh and he looks at me.

(To tell the truth, it was an accident and it wasn't meant to happen so I guess that I should just let it go. But I don't know for this guy?) I thought while looking at him.

(What do you mean accident, that was an intense kissing and he even tried to deepen the kiss which you responded too) my conscience scolded me making me went wide eyes and wanted to slap myself back.

"SHUT UP!" I suddenly shouted making Tobios to look at me with a surprised expression making me chuckle nervously.

"Oh, I was just talking to myself. Don't mind me and continue what were you saying" I said while calming myself.

"I---uhm" he was still hesitating and stuttering making me sigh and just want this thing to end and be buried in the past.

(And these feelings might just be confused and I think that he was just intentionally trying to prank and piss me off) I thought to myself as I glance at Tobios who is still stuttering.

"Let's just pretend that nothing had just happen and let's not get ourselves bothered by it since it was just an accident and nothing else, right?" I said while looking at him and he was a bit shocked before he then looks away.

"Yeah" he simply said before he stands up and then went towards the door making me stare at him in confusion since he suddenly become cold like the first time we had met.

But what made me look at him in confusion was that he's expression looked like he was disappointed.

He suddenly slams the door shut making me flinch since the door sounded like it was about to break.

"What the heck!" I said in surprised while looking at the door making me stare in disbelief.

"Did I say something wrong? It should be me who should me mad until now cause what he did was—I'm the one who's letting this slide and he's the one who's mad" I complained while slowly standing up.
