Chapter Eight: Lunch on Time

Glen's POV

"Thank goodness that we got on time or else we would have been punished as heck" I said in relief while looking at Troy who is also looking at me in shock.

"Damn you're freaking right if we were seconds late we were probably one of the people who is going to wash all the dishes tonight" he said as we both then look at the poor kids who are in front being scolded to be always on time and their punishment has been decided too.

"I think you should have been late a couple of minutes more since you really made a fucking grand entrance when you come in" I hear Kaylee said making me look at her and give her a teasing look.

"No one is asking for your opinion here" I teased and she just scoffs and looks away.

"This day would have been fun if I get to see you stand there" she mumbles to Ema and I just ignored here.

"Damn I really can't take it if we were going to wash the dishes tonight, can't you see that it was freaking many. It would take several hours to finish all of it" he complained while looking at the poor students.

"If you pity them then you can join them if you want" I teased Troy and he looked at me in horror.

"Why would I even do that?" he said and then looks away and continued to eat his food.

I then chuckle and continued to savor the dish that I have picked from the main table. Well, they have chosen a deep-sea lunch theme today since everything that they had serve were all sea foods.

I wanted to try some of the lobster and crab so I took those and I could remember how Kaylee stare at me in shock making me chuckle.

"Are you freaking going to eat that?" she said while I stare at her then I saw her and I eye her when I saw what she had on her plate.

"Well say's the one who nearly took all the freaking shrimps off the table" I said to her and she just then looks away before walking away like I didn't talk to her.

If the lobster and crabs look too many then imagine her plate overflowing with shrimps then you get to decide who took many.

"So, by the way how did your roommates go?" I asked the two girls and they slowly look at me.

"Well it was fine, my roommate's from your class and she was okay. I have no problem with her as long as she knows personal space" I hear Kaylee said while looking at me and I just nod my head while I look at Ema and I saw her looking at her food in silence.

"Are you fine Ema?" I asked while looking at her and she was just staring at her food making me look at her in worry.

"Ema... hey Ema" I tried to call her again but she was still ignoring me while looking at the food like she had just lost something too important.

"Oh don't mind her Glen, she got the worst" Kaylee said making me look at her and I saw her looking at Ema with a sympathetic look.

(Did she get a person that is so cruel?) I thought while looking at Ema and she was just staring blankly at her food making me worry about her.

"Did she got kicked out of the room?" suddenly Troy whispered surprising me for a bit and Kaylee share my reaction too as we then glare at him in annoyance and he smiles nervously while backing away.

I groan before I look at him who is chuckling nervously while Kaylee glares at him.

"Sorry I forgot that you were here?" I said to him while trying to fake that I had just acknowledged his presence making him look at me in shock.
