Chapter Thirty: Frustrated

Tobios' POV

I don't know what Sir Michael wants to do for telling me to teleport us into the woods.

As soon as we have appeared at the woods Sir Michael looks at me and I just look back at him.

He was looking at me seriously making me gulp in nervousness and confusion.

"Stay here and wait for me" he said before he looks at me with a warning.

I then glanced at Glen and look at him with worried eyes. I then look up at Sir Michael.

"What is really happening to him?" I couldn't help but ask him.

He just looks at me and nods his head before he looks away like he was looking for something from afar.

"Sir, we better take him back and let the—"

"Tobios I trust you that you will stay put here and wait for me" he suddenly said ignoring what I had just said making me look at him with an anxious and angry look.

(Didn't he hear what Mrs. Spinzel told us a while ago that we need to bring him to the Kingdom's infirmary immediately. That means his condition is critical and he needs to be treated now) I said angrily inside of my head as I glare at Sir Michael.

"I can't just stay put here and do what you say" I sternly said making Sir Michael look at me with a shocked expression and I didn't budge and look at him in the eye with a serious expression.

"He needs medical attention right now and it's best if we get him back to the kingdom's infirmary, you heard what Mrs. Spinzel said before we left" I argued with him.

"I'll try to teleport us there as fast as I can—"

He sighed before he looked at the horizon before he glances back at me.

"The kingdom's too far from here and we won't get on time. Even if you try to teleport us there it would take lots of mana and power. You won't be able to handle it" he said while looking at me.

"You'll probably collapse before we even get there" he ended before walking away from me.

I immediate teleported to block him from leaving.

"Then take me with you because I would still follow even if you told me to stay here and wait. I can't just stay still here knowing that the per-" I realized that I nearly said something to him making me stop talking and just look at him sternly for him not to notice it, but he already did.

"Whatever you're going to do, take me with you" I firmly said while looking at him.

He looks at me with suspicion, but I still maintain a serious expression making him let it go and then looks around again anxiously before he looks at me.

"Do you want us to argue here until Glen weakens or just follow what I have said and stay put here" he suddenly said with a serious expression making me stare up at him in silence.

"If you still want to argue here, I have lots of time but I don't think Glen has" he continued making me look at him in wide eyes and I immediately clench my fist and glare at him dangerously.

(So, you don't care if something bad happens to Glen) I thought before I glance at Glen and saw him still sleeping.

"YOU---" I pointed my fingers at him but he immediately cut me off.

"Stay here and wait for me" he sternly said and I hesitated but when I glanced at Glen, I couldn't help but step back.

"You better make sure that he'll be okay when you get back" I warned him and he then smiles before he started to walk away while carrying Glen.
