I coughed up water. I saw my two handed swords, my belt and everything in my belt next to me.

"What?" I asked."What happened?"

"Are you alright?" Susan asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"You were drowning." Mr. Beaver said."Peter here saved your life."

He did?

"You did?" I asked Peter.

He shyly smiled."Yes, I did."

I grew cold as Peter then helped me up.

"Thanks." I said with a smile.

He smiled."I would give you my coat, but it's completely drenched."

"I don't believe you will be needing a coat." Mrs. Beaver said pointing to a tree with flowers blossoming.

Winter is almost over. It's just like Father Christmas said. I gathered my things and we continued to walk.

"You don't know how to swim, do you?" Susan asked me as we were walking.

"No, I never learned to swim. When I was in Narnia mother forbade me to go anywhere far from the castle." I explained."And at the orphanage I was only allowed to go to school and I had to come straight back."

"That sounds like a pain." Susan commented.

"Tell me about it." I replied.

"Is easy once you get the hang of it." Peter commented.

"That's because you know how to swim." Lucy retorted.

I smiled as we continued to walk. The ice and snow was gone leaving the forest green once again and the beautiful flowers began to blossom.

It was soon dawn and we began to settle for the night. Mrs. Beaver gave us the last of the rations left which she packed.

"I'm afraid this is the last of what I packed." She explained.

"But there's always something we can find on our way to Aslan's." Mr. Beaver added.

"That's good." Peter said as he got up."Well, I'm going to grab some wood."

After eating, I opened my spell book to look at the different spells. At that moment, Peter came back with the wood and placed it on the ground.

Mr. Beaver was about to light to fire, when I stopped him.

"Can I try?" I asked.

"Of course, go and try out your magic." He replied.

With that I pointed my hands on the wood and soon the wood was covered with fire. I smiled at my work as I then continued to read the spell book.

"Nice work!" Mr. Beaver complemented me.

"She'll be a great sorceress." Mrs. Beaver added.

I smiled."Thank you, I hope I will."

We spent that evening telling stories and jokes. We smiled and laughed as we told them.

"And she was so mean to me that I grew so angry and I had no control over my magic, so I accidentally turned her upside down." I explained.

"We were outside in the park, it was one of the few times Mrs. Burke would let us outside. She was dangling upside high in the air and it took an hour to get her down."

They all laughed at my story and soon night came upon us.

"Well, goodnight." Susan said.

"Night." The Beavers said.

"Night." Lucy and I both replied.

"Good night." Peter said.

With that we laid next to the campfire. I laid on my back so I could see the beautiful sky filled with bright stars.

I soon fell asleep and the last thing I saw were the bright stars.

I felt someone tugging and grabbing me. I woke up to see the one person I didn't want to see at all. Mother!

"Mother?" I asked.

"You're coming with me!" She hissed as she grabbed my arm.

I looked back at the others who were sound asleep. I tried to yell, but mother with her free hand placed a gag in my mouth.

"You naughty girl, trying to run away from mum." Mother said as she dragged me away."What were you thinking?"

I glared at her as she threw me to the ground. She didn't love me. She then pointed her staff at me.

"This is for your own good." She said.

No! My arms and legs stopped moving. I was turning to stone.

"You are a disgrace for a daughter." She sneered.

You never loved me! I had no sympathy for her, even if she was my mother. But deep down it was hurting me. I then felt my entire body growing stiff.

"No!" I gasped.

I woke up panting and I looked around to see that it was still dark. Everyone was still asleep. It was only a dream.

I got up and walked deeper into the forest away from the others.

"Can't sleep?"

I gasped and I turned to see Xavier.

"Xavier?" I asked."What the bloody hell are you doing here?"

He chuckled."You wouldn't think that I'd leave you alone, would you?"

"So, you'll join us?" I suggested.

He sighed."Not quite, or at least not now. Edmund is trapped and I want to help get him back to his family. Besides I can't leave mum."

"What do you mean?" I asked rather appalled."She is ruthless, cruel, and plain evil!"

He huffed out a sigh."And you don't think I know that? She is the one who bore us and gave us life. I'm having a hard time here."

"She is a monster, Xavier." I replied."It hurts me as well in my heart. I remember all those times when the three of us did everything together.

"She seemed like a different person back then. I felt like we still had innocence back then. But now we have seen this other side of her."

"I wish she wasn't like this." Xavier said.

"Me too." I added.

"I'll return soon, don't you worry." Xavier replied."I-I just need time."

With that he gave me a hug and left. I then returned to the fireplace and added some more wood. And I eventually fell back to sleep.
