We soon arrived at a huge castle made of ice and snow and we walked inside where I found several wolves. The hole place was paved with ice. In this room there were three thrones.
A wolf approached us and bowed before us.
"Your majesty, is this her?" He asked.
"Yes Maugrim." Mother said."My daughter has returned."
"Is it true?"
A boy my age came running into the room. Xavier?
"Sabrina!" He exclaimed.
"Oh my, Xavier!" I gasped.
He pulled me into a hug which I returned. We soon pulled away and mother beckoned us to sit on the thrones.
Mother whispered something to Maugrim and he nodded. He left with a pack of wolves. I was finally happy to be reunited with my family.
"Where have you been all this time, sister?" Xavier asked.
"In London, it was intriguing." I explained."But I had no friends, however once I met Peter, Susan, Lucy, and Edmund I felt like I truly made friends."
"You know Edmund's siblings?" Mother asked.
"Of course." I said."What about you, brother?"
"I have everything I want." Xavier replied."And mother says one day I'll be king. How content I'll be when the day arrives."
Geez. He sounded just like Edmund.
"No!" I heard a yell coming from the entrance."Let me go!"
I looked over to see Maugrim and a pack of wolves enter with Mr. Tumnus.
"Mr. Tumnus!" I gasped.
He then stood before us and saw me. He was shocked to see me.
"Mr. Tumnus, you have hidden from us a human and the princess of Narnia." Maugrim announced."Do you decline?"
Mr. Tumnus looked at me with tears in his eyes. Poor faun. He was one of my first friends.
"No." He managed to choke out.
"Very well, your majesty." Maugrim said.
"Take him to the dungeons and he shall be turned into stone." Mother said.
"No!" I cried."You can't!"
"Take him away!" Mother said in a stern voice.
With that they dragged Mr. Tumnus away to the dungeons. It's all Edmund's fault, they dragged him away because he told my mother.
At that moment I remembered that my mother was known for turning Narnians into stone and she'd place them in the courtyard. That's when Aslan, Mr. Tumnus, Mr. Beaver, and Reepicheep saved me.
I realised that my mother was the enemy.
"How could you?" I asked.
"Don't tell me you actually care for those petty Narnians!" Xavier spat.
"I actually do!" I sneered.
"Sabrina!" My mother scolded as she slapped my cheek."That's enough! I looked for you for ages and this is how you treat me and your brother?"
I rubbed the cheek that she slapped. My own mother hit me. I felt torn and tears threatened to fall from my eyes.
"I will not allow you to escape the castle again and you will be a part of us, understand?!" Mother ordered at the top of her lungs.
I merely glared at her as I stormed off. I walked down into the dungeons to find Mr. Tumnus.
After sneaking through the guards, I finally found him with chains. He was locked up in a small room. He laid his head in his hands.
"Mr. Tumnus!" I called out upon approaching him.
He looked up and smiled upon seeing me.
"Your highness!"
"Don't worry, I'll get you out of here." I assured him.
"Your highness, it's no use." He said."I defended you and Lucy and I have no doubts. I will accept my fate."
"You truly are a great faun and friend, Mr. Tumnus." I said.
He smiled."Thank you. You are quite kind you know."
I then told Mr. Tumnus how I remembered him and everything was slowly beginning to come back to me.
"That's wonderful!" He beamed."But you must be careful. The witch might be your mother, but the prophecy still stands."
"Prophecy? What prophecy?" I inquired.
I heard footsteps and Mr. Tumnus whispered to me rather hastily.
"The prophecy is that two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve will come to defeat the witch and restore peace to Narnia." He whispered."However, they need a descendant of the witch in order for them to be successful. For she is more powerful than the witch."
The descendant of the witch? Is he talking about me?
"Are you implying that I am the one who must help two sons of Adam and daughter of Eve?" I inquired.
He nodded vigorously."Yes, you are the descendant of Queen Jadis. You are not just a princess, you're more than that.
"You are a powerful sorceress, more powerful than your own mother. That is why she wants to keeps you here."
I never thought of it that way. Over the years, my magic has gotten stronger. The footsteps got closer and Mr. Tumnus turned to me.
"You must leave." He whispered."You need to escape through the courtyard. Go!"
With that I crept around my way out of the dungeons and I ran into the courtyard. It was horrible to see all these poor Narnians turned into stone.
"Are you going somewhere?"
I turned to see Xavier at the entrance and I gasped.
"Xavier!"
He slowly walked towards me.
"Sabrina, we've been separated for years. We're finally all together and you're going to throw that all way just because you're concerned about some silly faun?!" He spat.
"He's my friend!" I retorted."And his name is Mr. Tumnus."
He snorted."Oh please."
I can't lose my brother. I then begin to remember all those times Xavier and I played together in the castle. He is my family.
"Then come with me. I don't want to lose you." I replied."You must realise that what you're doing is wrong!"
"Oh please!" He snapped."The faun brainwashed you!"
"He did not! The one who's brainwashed is you!" I retorted.
He huffed out a sigh."Go then."
"What?" I asked.
"Didn't you hear?" He asked rather annoyed."I don't want to fight with you. Go before mother finds out you're gone."
I forced a smile."Thank you Xavier."
He had a small smile plastered on his face.
"Not at all, just be careful." He warned.
"I will." I replied.
With that I left the courtyard and ran out of the castle. I then knew that Xavier wasn't the one to blame. There's still some goodness in him.
