A woman's voice then reached us.
"What is it now?"
The man had the blade of the dagger pressed to my neck.
"She didn't do anything. Please leave us alone." Edmund said.
"Please, don't let him kill me." I cried.
"How dare you address the queen of Narnia!" The man spat.
"We didn't know." Edmund explained.
"Didn't know? I'll show you!" The man yelled.
He was about to stab me, when the lady's voice reached us again.
"Wait."
Upon these words, the man stopped and got off of me. I looked up to see a woman in a white fur coat, curly blond hair, and a crown. She felt familiar as well.
"What's your name, son of Adam?" She asked Edmund.
"Uh, Edmund."
"And how Edmund did you come to enter my dominion?" She asked.
"I'm not sure." Edmund said."I followed Sabrina and my sister."
"Your sister? How many are you?"
This felt uncomfortable.
"Four." Edmund replied."Lucy's the only one who's been here before. And Sabrina here, well she's not a sibling of mine. She said that she met a faun named Tumnus."
The queen grew rather furious at his words. Then she turned to me and her mouth dropped.
"Sabrina?" She asked."Edmund, you said her name is Sabrina?"
"Yes, that's my name." I replied."Why?"
She smiled."I had a daughter named Sabrina. I don't suppose that is you, is it?"
At that moment something clicked in my head. I was so young, I remember. I use to live in Narnia with this queen and a boy.
"I remember living with you and a boy, but are you an aunt of mine?" I asked confused.
She felt hurt."You don't remember."
I shook my head."No, sorry. A lion named Aslan told me that he erased my memories."
She clenched her jaw at my words."That pesky feline! Wait until I get my hands on him!"
She then regained her composure."Nevertheless, I will tell you. I am your mother, Sabrina and the boy you mentioned is Xavier whom is your twin brother."
What?! She's my mother and I have a twin brother? Why would Aslan hide this from me.
"Blimey." The man gasped."The princess has returned."
"That's your mother?" Edmund asked shocked.
"I can't believe it, myself." I replied."But I am beginning to remember you."
She smiled at me, then saw that we were freezing.
"You two look cold, come and sit with me." She said.
We sat down on the carriage as she draped us with her warm fur coat.
"Now how about something warm to drink?" She suggested.
"Yes please." I said.
"Yes, your majesty." Edmund replied.
She then poured something on the ground and it grew into two cups with hot chocolate inside.
The man gave us our drinks.
"Your drink sire." The man sneered."And for you as well, your highness."
Magic. Like I can do.
"How did you do that?" Edmund asked.
"I can make anything you'd like." She said.
"So, you can do magic like me?" I asked.
She smiled."Of course, where else do you think you inherited that power?"
I began to drink the hot chocolate as Edmund spoke up.
"Can you make me taller?"
She laughed."Anything you'd like to eat."
"What about chocolates?" I suggested.
With the snap of her fingers a box of chocolates appeared. She took our cups and gave them to the man.
They were delicious!
"Edmund, I'd really like to meet the rest of your family." Mother said.
What for? Edmund thought the same thing as he looked up at her.
"Why?" He asked."They're nothing special!"
"Edmund!" I scolded."That is your family you're talking about."
"I'm sure they're not nearly as delightful as you are." Mother replied.
What is going on? How could Edmund insult his family?
She then grabbed the man's hat as gave it to Edmund as a napkin. Once he was done, mother threw it back to the man.
"I can see you as a prince." She said."Perhaps even the King of Narnia."
His eyes widened.
"Really?" Edmund asked.
I really don't like where this is going...
"Of course you're going to have to bring your family." Mother then said.
"Do you mean Peter would be king too?" Edmund asked dissatisfied.
"Oh no." Mother said with a smile."But a king needs servants."
"Mother!" I said sternly."That is his family, how come you're letting him treat them that way!"
"Sabrina, don't worry." Edmund said."I guess I could bring them."
"Sabrina, dear relax." Mother said."You needn't get so worked up."
She then gave the box to the man who was happily eating away.
"Beyond these woods, you see between the two hills?" Mother asked as she pointed at the landscape.
"There lies my home. I live in a castle filled with marvellous and spacious rooms." Mother said."And even a courtyard."
"Can't we just go there now?" Edmund begged.
"No!" Mother yelled.
Oh my!
"We can't be seen." Mother said."But I need you to bring your family here."
Edmund got off the carriage and I was about to do the same, when mother grabbed my arm.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"I-I was going with Edmund." I said.
She smiled."My child, I am taking you home where you belong. Xavier will be thrilled to see you. Don't you miss him?"
I nodded. With that the carriage took off leaving Edmund behind us. I was beginning to have a headache and I knew a lot of memories would come flooding back to me.
