Chapter 26 The Crew

I figured I'd post a short chapter today as a best of luck for everyone who has finals/ exams this week! Because I know I do. GOOD LUCK!

Chapter 26
Jerome POV

I've never had much patience for people who show up late to important things. Quentin was one of those people who didn't understand that 'important' meant now. Not stop at the coffee shop and be twenty minutes late thing.

"He's not answering his cell." Ian said sitting down at the head of the table. "Not that he ever does but it isn't like him to be twenty minutes late."

"He better be bringing us all coffee if he's any later." I muttered and Jason snickered under his breathe.

"He is going threw a lot right now and I'm grateful he's still working." Ian exclaimed.

Quentin wasn't one to mourn deaths anymore. Not after his cousin Kermit died. He would always say 'Everyone's going to die at some point. We can't stop them.' So he wouldn't be mourning his wife. He may have cried for a day and visited her grave but other than that he went about like normal.

"I guess we'll start this without him and fill him in on the way." Mitch said standing up and brushing the hair out of his face. He picked up the remote and clicked a button. Sky's photo appeared on screen

"As we all know our friend Sky Dahlberg disappeared last night from his and Jerome's home. Due to the facts Jerome has filled in we can believe he left around 11 while Jerome was showering because the door was left and unlocked and they locked it once they got home."

"We know Sky's extremely sneaky when it comes to hiding out, which caused him to turn off his cellphone." Ian added.

"Exactly. I've pinpointed the place of Jerome's last call." He clicked the button and a map appeared, "I've got a three mile radius of nothing but rich neighborhoods in the area his cellphone hit from."

"So we have a bunch of stuck up rich people to deal with without Deadlox's crew realizing what we're doing."

"Speaking of his crew." Mitch hit the button again and several pictures appeared on screen. "I've been tracking all forms of online and cellular contact in the area. I've come up with what I believe to be most of Deadlox's team."

There was 7 photos all of them unlike the other. Deadlox, Simon, Bodil, Seto and two others I didn't know.

"Now Deadlox met these three at the airport." Mitch said zooming in on Seto and the two others, "We know Seto of course." I casted a glance at Tyler in time to see him flinch and look away from the photo.

"The one with pink hair is Kyle and the other is known as Dartron."

These were new faces. How long had they been working under our noses? How many others were there that we didn't know?

"Now using some of my tech magic I've been able to identify them threw past criminal records." He zoomed in on Kyle. "This is Kyle Comics. 25 years old and born in the U.S. His family moved to France when he was only 2. There he served a year jail time for possession of illegal weaponry. He's been out for three years now." He zoomed out and zoomed in on Dartron.

"Names Dar Comics. A cousin of Kyle Comics. He's 28. Born and raised in England, moved to France when he was 13. Served prison time with Kyle for the same offense."

"So that's two more convicts." Jason muttered and Tyler kicked his chair to shush him.

"Now we know Seto. But for Jason's sake I'll go over it again." He zoomed in on Seto's photo and Tyler turned away.

"Seto is a highly efficient Serial Killer with an undying blood lust." Tyler exclaimed biting down on his lower lip. "He's street smart and would rather be chased down than fight. He craves the adrenaline of being chased but he's faster than us."

"Exactly. As for Deadlox. I dug more into him and found this." Mitch said and clicked the button. "His names Tyler Ellis who apparently died at age 11 in a fire. But as we know he didn't. He's been going under a multitude of fake names that are difficult to track but I'm working on it. As for Bodil and Simon we know plenty about them."

"So we're done here?" I asked anxiously. I needed to find Sky before something happened to him.

"Dismissed. I'm going to try calling Agent Quentin again." Ian stood and left the room pulling out his phone on the way.

While Mitch went back to his computer cave and Tyler and Jason talked quietly I stared intently at the picture of Deadlox.

I swear if he did anything to Sky. There will be hell to pay. Sky is suppose to kill Deadlox. And if he can't.

I will.
