Chapter 27 Agent Q

Chapter 27

Sky POV

Have I ever mentioned how amazing it is to just lay in the sun next to a pool with someone who cares about you curled up at your side. Because that's how I was spending my day.

Myself, Ty, Seto, Kyle, and Ghost were all in the courtyard where there was a pool. It was sunny seeing as it was Early June. I tried to relax the best I could but Seto's question kept fluttering back into my mind. The FBI was my home, Tyler, Jason, Jerome, Mitch, Ian...they were my family.

But here there was no superior official. I was just as equal as everyone and treated as so. I felt free here, like I didn't need to hide anything.

"Riddle me this! What does a drowning Seto look like?" Ghost called out before crashing into the back of Seto catching him into a headlock and pulling him under the water. It was weird watching a masked man pull someone under the water but i laughed.

Seto surfaced three seconds later his wet hair plastered to the side of his head.

"Ghost! Bloody hell I could have died!" He shouted pointing at him. Ghost just grinned and disappeared under the water. They were like children. Little children with the ability to kill a man with anything they could turn into a weapon.

It was a lot different than i was use to but i didn't mind. Simon,Bodil,Dartron, and Haydz had left this morning on a 'super secret mission' as they claimed. I wasn't worried. The rest of my team would be smart enough to stay secure right? Or were those idiots out looking for me?

"Adam" Ty mumbled turning his head to look up at me. I ran my fingers threw those luxurious lox of his. "You're thinking about something."

"I was just thinking about the offer Seto made me this morning."

I had told Ty about this offer once he was awake and he just brushed me off and told me Seto was being a drama queen and over dramatic. It actually made me laugh.

"It's your choice but in my opinion I'd prefer you come back to France with us. It's a lot more fun than this boring county filled with over priced greasy foods." He spat and I chuckled. He patted me on the chest before jumping up and walking over to the pools edge.

I raised an eyebrow but he held a finger to his lips and motioned to Ghost who was now relaxing on a pool tube. Seto was across the pool doing laps in the deep end. Ty backed up a bit before launching himself off the edge and into the water or well on top of Ghost causing them both to flip out of the tube.

Grinning I rose from the lounge chair and barreled after him and into the pool. Cannon balling in right next to Ghost as he surfaced.

"You incompetent bastards! Can't a man relax in his own pool!" Ghost shouted as i surfaced, sending a wave of water at me. Ty and i shared a look.

"Nope!"

Ty and I laughed and chased each other around the pool like children. Occasionally stopping to flip Ghost off his tube or pretend to drown Seto. It was so much fun, not having anything to worry or care about.

"Guys Were back!" Bodil called out to the courtyard startling awake Kyle who had been asleep in his own lounge chair. "And we got the thing!" We all exited the pool, grabbing towels to dry off.

"Excellent. Everyone get dressed and meet me on the lowest floor. Sky as well." Ghost ordered then hurried into the building towards what i assumed was his room. I followed Ty upstairs to his room and changed back into the clothes Seto had given me earlier this morning.

Ty changed into a suit. One that i had seen him in multiple times. He opened a drawer on his dresser and produced a blood red tie. He proceeded to tie the tie and straighten it out in the mirror.

"You look hot" I admitted watching him. He smiled and winked at me before fixing his hair.

"I know i do. Let's go" I followed him from the door and down to where they're was apparently an elevator. There were so many buttons. How far down did this thing go?

Ty pressed the button labeled Basement and we slowly descended. The elevator went far underground and opened.

The hallway was dark but lit by a few small lights on the wall. Ty stepped off the elevator and pulled me down the hall towards the room at the very end.

"Adam do you trust me?" I slowly nodded.

"Yeah why?" He looked at me and set a hand on the door handle.

"Then I want you to stay next to me and don't do anything. I really mean don't do anything. Seto's gonna be a bit flustered up." I bit my lip and nodded. He let out a breathe and we entered the room.

Instantly I could see cameras and screens and a chair in the middle of the room with chains on it. Was this..some kind of torture room?

"You guys are right on time!" Seto said excitedly twirling a knife in his hand. His shirt was dotted with blood and his shirt collar was torn slightly. "Guys! Bring him in before I get bored!"

Kyle and Dartron whooped in excitement and hurried into the room. Except they were dragging someone. A man in a ripped up bloody suit. They flung him in the chair and strapped him down before he could protest.

"Our guest of honor! Quentin Kipperz!" Ghost cheered. I went pale.

That was Quentin. My teammate, one of my friends. He'd just come back to find his wife murdered and now this? Not to mention these people we're the ones who had killed his wife.

"Quentin?" I couldn't help but whisper. Apparently he heard me because his head shot up and his eyes flashed in relief then to panic.

"Sky? What are you doing here? You know there dangerous!" Seto's hand shot put and smacked him.

"Silence." Quentin ignored him.

"Come on Adam please."

Ty shot forward and drew his knife slashing it across Quentins cheek.

"You don't ever get to call him by that name." Ty hissed, "No one is allowed to call him Adam but me." He stepped back and crossed his arms. Quentin gave me a pleading look but all I could was just shake my head.

I felt like he deserved that. They knew I hated my name and they still used it. Someone respected me enough to be allowed to use and defend it.

"Are we ready Ghost?" Ty asked. Ghost grinned and nodded.

"Alright. Haydz are you hacked into the FBI building? So it'll play on there big screen?" Haydz typed furiously and nodded excitedly.

"Then let's begin."
