Chapter 5 Crazy

Deadlox POV

I fucked up. I fucked up so so bad! After all these years he'd finally made me so comfortable that I slipped up!

Ugh! I was so stupid! I hate Adam so much! Him and those stupidly perfect golden eyes! His annoyingly curly brown hair. He was so cocky and confident It drove me insane!

But something about him drove me crazy in more ways than one.

There was a side of me that would love to break every single bone in his body. Then the other side, the one that wanted him whimpering and moaning under my grasp.

Trying to fight between the two was driving me crazy. Everyone I worked with knew it too. God he was my worst enemy!

I shook my head and closed the privacy window between me and Bodil. He was my partner and all but he didn't need to hear this. I pulled out my headset and iPod hooking them together. Then I sent the call.

Adam's face appeared on the screen surprised. I could see Tyler's face watching over his shoulder but they couldn't hear because Adam had on headphones.

"I missed you already Adam" I said breaking our usual greetings. His eyebrows shot up.

"Really? No cocky joke? No smartass welcome? Something's bothering you." I paused and slumped down in my chair.

"You know me too well. Tyler's looking over your shoulder by the way." Adam twisted his head and Tyler smiled innocently.

"Tyler buzz off!" The boy squeaked and disappeared from view, "We're Alone now."

"You're driving Me crazy" I admitted letting out a breathe. He watched me carefully waiting for an explanation.

"How so?" His voice was cocky and it made my grin grow larger.

God damn him being so cocky. Any point of weakness was an invitation to be cocky to him. But that damn smile sent shivers down my spine.

"Everything about you. We're so similar it's scary! Cocky, confident, intelligent." I rambled on, "You make me want to....." I trailed off.He leaned closer to the mic and licked his lips.

"Strangle and fuck you at the same time." His voice was deep and almost evil like. I closed my eyes and took a breathe.

If he had spoke to anyone else in that tone or said those words they would have deemed him insane! But for me. God damn he just knew.

"Yes. Exactly." I opened my eyes. He was watching me with a steeled gaze. "Your the gonna be the death of me Adam."

"Maybe if you beg for mercy I'll make it painless." I shook my head laughing. My laughter caused him to grin playfully.

"How would you do it?" He frowned and gave me a startled look.

"What?" He asked cautiously. I smiled.

"How would you kill me Adam?"
