Seb's POV
I have a perfect life. I know that sounds cocky, but I really can't complain. I am a detective for the LAPD, I have a house and a wife I have spent eight happy years with.

Chelsea and I met in college. We got introduced at a frat party. We sat on the couch the whole time talking about Harry Potter.

I asked her to marry me three years later. We got married in June the year after. I thought she was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in that white wedding dress.

I also loved taking it off her.

I walk up behind her as she was brushing her teeth and kissed her neck. "Get off me," she giggles with foam in her mouth. She spits into the sink and then wipes her mouth on a towel.

"Do you work today?" I ask her, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Yeah till 5," she mutters.

"I'll be home around 7," I murmur.

"Why?" She questions.

"Jaxon and I have that bank robbery," I answer. "We got some new leads, so just have to follow them up."

"Is it bad for me to say, I liked it better when you were just a cop?" She questions. "Being a detective takes all your time and we are trying to have a baby, Seb."

"I know that," I whisper. "But I wouldn't be able to afford this house, without the salary of a detective."

"I make money too," she says. "I am a CEO's assistant."

"I know," I say. "But we like expensive things too."

"Alright well I will have dinner made for us tonight," she states. "I can make a pasta bake."

I kiss her. "Sounds amazing."

I get into the shower, where Chelsea joins me and then get ready for work. I leave with a kiss on my wife's lips and head to the station.

Jaxon was waiting by my desk with a cup of coffee. "It's a beautiful mornin' innit?"

I sit down at my desk and quirk an eyebrow at him. "I guess?"

He looks around the precinct before sitting at the chair, where most suspects sit to be questioned. "Olivia said yes!"

"That's amazing!" I gush. "How did you ask?"

"Olivia loves the beach," Jaxon says. "So we went for a midnight surf and then after had some dinner on a blanket, where I just asked."

"Very nice," I comment.

"I want you to be my best man," Jaxon says.

"I would love that," I say.

"I mean even though I wasn't your best man, I think you still deserve it," Jaxon deadpans.

My best friend since birth pretty much was my best man. I would do anything for Colin and he would do anything for me. When he was fourteen he needed a kidney, so I gave him mine.

I know he would do the same for me.

*
It was about eight when I got home. I knew Chelsea was going to be pissed off.

I unlock the front door and drop my keys on the kitchen counter. I hear the tv and make my way into the living room. I stop short when I see Chelsea and Colin sitting on the couch together.

"Colin, you didn't tell me you were coming over," I say. "Something up?"

I glance at Chelsea, who looked like she had been crying. "We need to talk," Colin says.

"Okay," I murmur. "What's going on?"

Colin takes a deep breath. "I'm in love with Chelsea."

I burst out laughing. "Okay." Colin and Chelsea stare at me while I laugh, so my humour slowly fades. "What the fuck do you mean?" I growl.

"We met her on the same night," Colin says. "I wanted to go talk to her but you beat me to it. I couldn't tell you because you saved me."

"That's not an excuse," I snap.

"Your right," Colin says. "Which is why I stayed away when you were with Chelsea."

I did always wonder why he never wanted to hang out with Chelsea.

"Then you guys got engaged," Colin murmurs. "It crushed me. It's when I realised I loved her. So I told her."

"You knew?" I ask, looking at Chelsea. She couldn't even look at me. "Why am I just hearing this fucking now?"

"She rejected me," Colin says. "We didn't talk about it, till the other week."

"You guys had sex?" I croak.

"Seb-"

"What the fuck?" I roar. "How could you do that to me?"

"There's more," Chelsea croaks.

"More?" I question. "How could this possibly get worse?"

"I'm pregnant," Chelsea whispers.

My heart stops and my mind just goes blank. Pregnant? "It's his?" I question.

Chelsea nods. "I'm so sorry, Seb."

She starts sobbing and Colin comforts her. I lean forward in my seat and rub my hands over my face. My mind still couldn't comprehend this.

"I wish it didn't have to be this way," Colin says. "We just want you to be okay with this."

I laugh, darkly. "Okay with this? You fucking my wife!?"

Colin flinches. "Seb, Chelsea can't be stressed right now, so please tone your voice down."

"Get out," I growl. "The both of you."

I stand up and Chelsea stammers. "Sebastian please."

"Did I stutter?" I yell. Colin gathers Chelsea in his arms and leads her out the door. Before he leaves he turns back to me.

"I will always be your best friend," he says. "I hope you realise that soon."

"My best friend wouldn't have done, what you did," I growl.
