"You have to get dressed!" Trey struggled to pull me out of Amanda's bed, which I've been sleeping in for the past week of me being sick, while her and Trey were sleeping down in the living room, much to my dismay.
By now I was feeling better, so much better in fact, that they were tying to take me to a dentist appointment that had already be scheduled. Amanda already knows how much I hate going to the dentist or even going to the doctors in general.
I couldn't believe she was making me do this.
"No! I'm not going!" I began kicking at Trey with my free leg. "Go away!" I told him, struggling to get out of his grasp. "Ezra Wesley!" I stopped struggling after hearing him say my middle name.
When did he even find out my middle name was Wesley?
"Don't say my middle name!" I pouted, beginning to squirm away from him again.
"Ezra Wesley" He warned again. I once again stopped. "I don't want to go" I told Trey honestly, feeling small now. I was trying my hardest to not be little right now, but him almost yelling at me wasn't helping in the slightest.
"Baby, I know you don't want to go but you don't have much of a choice" I finally allowed myself to be pulled to the edge of the bed and I sat up, wrapping my arms around Trey's waist. "If I go.. Can I have ice cream afterwards?" I tried to negotiate.
I felt Trey chuckle, and he pulled away from the hug, making me look up at him. "You can have all the ice cream in the world if you go, little one" He told me in a soft, fond voice, as a smile appeared on his face.
"Okay," I whispered. "I'll get dressed" Trey backed up so that I could stand up and rustled my hair a bit. "Good boy" He praised, earning a smile from me. He grabbed my hand, walking me to my room, and waited outside while I got dressed.
I ended up putting on a pair of black jeans, my favorite dinosaur themed converse and the dinosaur hoodie that Trey got me the day we met. I may be big right now but that doesn't stop me from wearing my dinosaurs.
"Well don't you look cute" Trey grinned, looking up from his phone when I walked out of my room. I couldn't help the blush that coated my cheeks. "Thank you" I mumbled, looking down at my feet to avoid looking at him.
"Is he dressed?" Amanda called from the bottom of the stairs. I giggled, skipping to the top, making sure to stop before I was too close to the edge. "He's dressed!" I called back down, a smile forming on my face.
I giggled again when Trey picked me up and started tickling me gently. "Little cutie" He then attacked my entire face with kisses, before leaving one last kiss on the tip of my nose.
I think its safe to say my favorite thing about Trey would have to be the way he treats me like a kid, even when I'm not little. Although it was making me feel little.
Trey carried me down the stairs, setting me back on my feet once we were at the bottom. "You ready to go, Ez" Amanda grabbed her keys off of the coffee table in the living room.
"Nope!" I smiled.

The entire ride to the dentist office, I was chewing the inside of my cheek, worried they would have to pull teeth or that I would need surgery or something. I'm not sure why I was worried though, it's not like I don't brush teeth.
"You okay back there, bud?" Amanda questioned, reaching back to pat my knee as she was the one driving.
"Y-Yeah" I replied, switching from chewing my cheek to sucking on the pacifier I snuck out the house.
I jumped when Trey called my name, looking up at him with wide eyes. "Where'd you get that?" My eyes shifted to the floor in front of me. "It was in my pocket" I whispered after I took the paci out.
"Give it here" He put his hand out for the pacifier. I fiddled with it for a few seconds before placing it in Trey's hand. "Good boy" I put my head down in shame, knowing I shouldn't have brought the pacifier with me in the first place.
I just needed something to keep me calm.
My hand moved up towards my lips, my thumb painstakingly close. But I remembered I would be in trouble for sucking my thumb as well. My last resort was simply playing with the strings of my hoodie.
"Here," I looked up, seeing Trey handing me his phone, Raya and The Last Dragon playing on the screen. "Watch this till we get there"
I took the phone, thanking him, allowing myself to get lost in the movie. Before I knew it, we were pulling into the parking lot of the dentist office.
All the fear and dread came rushing back faster than it had left. I hesitantly handed Trey his phone back, and got out the car slowly.
Trey came around to my side of the car, pulling me into his arms. I think he could tell my nerves were kicking in again.
"You're gonna be okay, Ezzy, I promise" He whispered, squeezing me tightly. "And remember, you get ice cream afterwards" He reminded, causing me to light up.
I ended up walking into the office, hand in hand with Trey, and made sure to hold my head high, being the bravest I could be.
We probably would've gotten here late if it wasn't for Trey.
