Finding Our Way Back (Tinn and Gun)

Until I let you go.

"I don't like her, there's something off about her." Por said as he folded his arms. "Honey come on give her a chance, she is really a lovely person. Otherwise Tinn would not have been with her for so long." Tiw said as he side hugged Por. "I still don't get why we having breakfast with her." Por said as he pouted. "Honey come on you promised you will try. You know Tinn is my bestfriend." Tiw replied. "And Gun is my bestfriend." Por argued. "I know love, and you know Gun is one of my closest friends. Besides Win and Sound are going to be joining us." Tiw said giving Por a peck on the cheek.

"You guys have been together for over 6 years and are behaving like newlyweds." Win said as him and Sound joined Tiw and Por by the table. "We will be newlyweds soon." Tiw said giving Por another peck. "Gosh you are so clingy." Sound said. "And you guys are not clingy enough." Por said. "We are the right amount of clingy right pumpkin?" Win said tickling Sound's chin. "Pumpkin my ass." Sound said as he blushed. They all laughed. "Over here Tinn." Tiw said signaling over to Tinn and Meen to join them. "Hello guys" Tinn said as he pulled out a chair for Meen. "Guys this is my girlfriend Meen, honey this is Win, Sound and you already met Tiw and Por yesterday." Sound and Win greeted Meen with a smile. Por glared at her, Tiw nudged him and whispered "you promised to behave love." Por then smiled and nodded.

Gun showed up wearing black sweatpants, a black Balenciaga hoodie, black Jordan's and black LV shades. "Hey guys, sorry I am late." He said not noticing Tinn and Meen. "Hey Gun come sit next to me." Por said signaling at the seat next to him. Tiw looked at him and whispered, "why didn't you tell me you invited Gun.". Por looked at him and said, "He is my bestfriend, was I not supposed to invite him?" Speaking loud enough for the others to hear. "You guys don't mind do you? Gun and I have wedding things to do after breakfast." he said looking specifically at Meen. Tinn looked at Tiw, and Tiw shrugged. "Of course not." Win said, and Sound added saying "Yeah plus I missed you man.". Gun let out an awkward laugh and replied to Sound saying "Yeah yeah, we should hit the studio together one of these days, just like old times."

"So tell me why are you looking so dressed up for?" Win said to Gun. "Dressed up my ass, I am wearing sweatpants and a hoodie." Gun replied. "He is an idol, he cannot be caught lacking." Sound said teasing Gun. "How are you? Meen right?" Gun said looking at Meen. "You remembered my name, I am doing good thanks. It's not everyday Tinn and I have a morning free schedule." Meen replied holding Tinn's arm and smiling. Tinn kept looking at Gun, thinking about the call they had that early morning. "So have you guys started planning the engagement party yet?" Meen asked. "That's Gun and Tinn's  job." Por answered. "Oh you didn't tell me love." Meen said looking at Tinn. "That's because they are our best men " Tiw said with a light chuckle hoping to lighten the mood. Tiw signaled the waiter over to take their orders.

"Khun Gun, oh my God it's you." The waiter said looking at Gun. " I am your biggest fan, I have all your albums and merchandise." He added. Gun looked up at the waiter and smiled, "Thank you for your support, uhm Mr?". "Leo, my name is Leo." The waiter said. "Well thank you Leo." Gun said smiling. "Oh sorry, what can I get you guys?" Leo said with a big grin on his face looking at Gun. They put on their orders and the waiter walked away. "He is cute." Win said, "Hey who is cute?" Sound interjected. "Calm down pumpkin you know I only have eyes for you." Win said sniff kissing Sound on the cheek. Gun rolled his eyes and laughed. "He is cute though, you should get his numbers." Por said. Tinn looked at Tiw then at Por. Gun glanced at Tinn before replying to Por. "Are you crazy? I don't date or hook up with fans." He said. "Yeah of course, he only dates korean actresses." Win teased Gun.

"So Gun are you dating anyone?" Meen asked and Tinn almost choked on his drink. Gun looked at Por then at Meen, "No, I just have a really bad history with relationships." He replied. "Yeah can you believe his ex just let him go." Por added giving Gun a side hug. "Oh well he really lost out." Meen replied and Tinn almost choked again on his drink. Por chuckled and said "Tinn are you okay? Did you forget how to drink?" He said in a sarcastic tone chuckling. Tiw nudged him and whispered, "love behave." Por just smiled. Tinn and Gun looked at each other. "Yeah and I really loved him." Gun said not breaking eye contact with Tinn. "Do you still love him?" Meen asked. "Yes very much so." Gun said, then broke eye contact with Tinn and looked at Meen "But he has moved on, and so should I." He said. Every one suddenly kept quiet and tensed up. "Please excuse me I am going to restroom." Gun stood up and walked over to the bathrooms.

GUN'S POV

"I can't do this. I cannot believe I said that. Why would I say that." I whispered to myself as I washed my hands by the sink. I let out a deep breath. I can't believe Por invited me over, knowing Tinn is going to be here with his perfect girlfriend. "Gun" I heard Tinn's voice. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in. "Gun..." his voice was closer this time, I opened my eyes and saw his reflection on the mirror. "Tinn." I replied. "What was that?" He asked. "What do you mean Tinn?" I replied. "The phone call this morning and the whole thing still being in love with me." Tinn said. I kept quiet, holding my breath. Tinn moved closer and said in a low soft voice, "Gun... look at me.". I kept still still holding my breath, scared to exhale because I knew I would cry if I did. He moved closer and gave me a back hug, it was as if he knew I needed it. The moment I felt his touch I sobbed. He turned me around and pulled me into a tight, warm hug.

I stayed in his arms crying. I felt his warmth, I felt safe again. I felt whole again. "It's okay Gun." He said. I was silent embarked in his warm embrace. "I  am sorry Gun." He said while holding me tightly. I eventually pulled away and said "I am sorry Tinn... I know you have Meen now. I know you are happy with her. It's just sometimes you don't know what you have until you have lost it." He kept quiet. "You and Mae were my whole universe. And I lost you both." I said with tears streaming down my face. "When Mae finally lost her fight to cancer, the only person I wanted with me that day was you." I added. He looked at me with sympathetic eyes. "Don't look at me like that." I said. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Don't look at me like you pity me!." I said as I walked out of the restroom.

I bumped into Tiw on my way out. I had forgotten that I still had tears streaming down my face. He held me by my shoulders and looked at me in my eyes and asked, "Hey Gun are you okay." At the same time Tinn came out of the restroom after me. Tiw looked at him then back at me and repeated the question. I cried, I couldn't hold back the tears, I couldn't pretend that I was okay. He pulled me in for a hug and looked at Tinn with questioning eyes and asked "Meung what did you do?". The others sitting the table looked at us, Por rushed over followed by Sound and Win. Por pulled in for a hug and escorted me outside to my car.
