[A/N: So I wasn't fully satisfied with how I ended the book so to ease my busy mind I wrote a special chapter.]Night had always been an introverted child, never made friends or spoke too much. One of the few things that would peek his interests was astronomy.
Every night since anyone could remember Night would spend most of his evenings staring at the starry night skies, he would spend hours and hours staring vacantly at the sky. It was as if he was looking for something, something important. But nobody knew what he was looking for, not even Night himself.
"Night! Hurry we are going to be late, Ongsa is waiting for us." That was Sun calling out to Night, she was Night's older sister. They were only 2 years apart and the other person she mentioned was Ongsa, her girl friend of 5 years.
They were Night's only friends since the younger was best known for his cold personality. Everyone at school believed because of his brilliant mind, he was not interested in making friends.
This was far from the truth though, Night was just a shy person who didn't know how to talk to people. Because of his lack of social skills he would come across as cold or indifferent whenever anyone would approach him.
The truth was that Night was a sweet, kind and funny person. If you got to know the real him, one would realise that he was much more than his big brains. Apart from Astronomy Night loved music, one would argue that he was rather passionate about it.
He would compose songs for his sister's band, and sometimes practice with them. He didn't dare join them when they performed, he would rather walk on broken glass before he goes through such a torturous ordeal.
Sun never stopped urging him to join her band, she would always praise him. She thought Night had the type of voice that one could compare to a siren's, it was enchanting.
Ongsa drove together with Sun and Night to Bangkok University, it was Night's first day as a freshman in the faculty of sciences. He was pursuing a career in theoretical physics.
"Thank you for the ride P'Ongsa." Night said exiting the car and Ongsa nodded with a smile.
"Smile Night, it will be more inviting so you can make friends." Sun said.
"I am not here to make friends, I am here to study." Night replied making Sun sigh heavily.
Night didn't intend to make friends, he just didn't see the need to. He has never met anyone he was interested in, plus he didn't like forcing things.
On his way to his first lecture he bumped into someone.
"Sorry, I am sorry I wasn't looking were I was going." The stranger said helping Night pick up the papers that got scattered on the floor when they bumped into each other.
"Be careful next time." Night said with his voice coming across rather cold.
The stranger chuckled handing Night his papers, this reaction took Night by surprise. He never got that kind of reaction before, usually people would scoff at him or call him rude but not this person.
"Cute." The stranger said with a smile making Night to actually look at his face. Usually Night didn't really look at people or register their faces, he would usually just glance at them.
When he actually looked at this person he had an unusual feeling arise within him. When he looked into his eyes he felt an eerie sense of recognition, even though he was certain he has never met this person before.
When Night watched this stranger walk away from him, his heart was beating out of his chest and strangely he just wanted to be in the same room as him forever. It was like he didn't want to see the stranger walk away from him.
