Finding Our Way Back (Tinn and Gun)

Tiw-Por

"Calm down love, come sit down." Tinn said to Gun who was pacing back and forth checking if everything was ready for baby Norawit's arrival. "I just need to make sure that everything is ready." Gun said as he sat on the couch next to Tinn.

Tinn put Gun's head on his shoulder and ran his hands through his hair, making Gun relax a bit. "I just want to make sure everything is ready. Baby Norawit will be coming home after four months in the hospital." Gun said. "I know love. You have already fumigated, made sure the floors were washed 3 times. This place is basically sterile at this point." Tinn said laughing.

After a few minutes of them snuggling on the couch they heard a car pull up on the driveway and Gun immediately headed out of the door, with Tinn slowly following him. They were met with Por holding Norawit in his hands. "Oh he is so grown since the last time I saw him." Gun said gushing over how cute Norawit was.

Por and Gun immediately went upstairs to the nursery leaving Tinn and Tiw downstairs. "This place is insanely clean." Tiw commented looking around. "It's more sterile than a theatre room. Gun fumigated this place." Tinn said. Tiw raised his eyebrow and said "Shia! Are you serious." Tinn nodded and said "we have been awake since 4h00am."

Tiw smiled, his eyes were getting a bit teary he said while sniffling "Thank you Tinn, I don't know where I will be without your support." Tinn placed his arm around Tiw's shoulder and said "Hey you know I got you always. You are my brother and I love you." Tiw smiled while blinking away the tears that were threatening to fall. "We are brothers and they are soulmates." He said pointing at the direction where Por and Gun disappeared to. "Seriously! They are the exact same person different fonts." Tinn replied laughing.

They were silent for a while sitting on the couch. "Do you think we should go upstairs and check up on them? They have been there for almost an hour." Tiw asked and Tinn nodded.

When Tinn arrived at the nursery they found Gun cooing baby Norawit to sleep whereas Por fell asleep on the couch covered by a fleece blanket.

"Daddy seems exhausted. How about you guys go to sleep we will take care of Norawit and get dinner ready." Tinn said to Tiw and he nodded.

Tiw crouched down next to Por gently removing the strands of hair covering his face. "Love... let's go to bed so you can rest." Tiw said gently trying to wake up his husband. Por groaned as he slowly opened his eyes.

"Come let's go to bed." Tiw gently said but Por shook his head in protest. "No what of Norawit needs me." He was so attached to his baby especially after losing Namtam, he didn't want to stay away from his baby.

"I am here and so is Tinn. You need to rest you barely got any sleep since you stayed up the whole night at the NICU." Gun said but stubborn Por refused.

"Honey please you need to rest." Tiw said trying to coerce Por. "Por trust me, plus Tinn is a Doctor he knows how to take care of babies." Gun said and Tinn nodded. "He is a Cardiologist not a pediatrician." Por retorted. "Por... Don't make me drag you to bed." Gun said sternly still cooing baby Norawit.

"I will sleep here then." Por said patting the couch he was now sitting on. Gun sighed before turning to Tinn and said "love, can you and Tiw take the travel cot bed and put it in the master bedroom so Por can have Norawit there with him?."

Tiw tried protesting but he knew it would be useless considering how stubborn his husband is. So together with Tinn they set up one of the extra cot bed they had in the master bedroom. Por insisted that Gun stay with him and Norawit  while the other two prepared dinner.

Tiw was a little irritable but complied, him and Por just fixed things and he didn't want to have an unnecessary fight. Although Por was trying to open up more but he was still closed off and it sometimes made him feel like Por didn't trust him. It hurt, but he figured things will be fine, they will be fine. They just need to adjust to this whole new situation.
