Belinda woke up with Corbin's arm around her naked chest over the next few weeks. Work had been slow, since not many dark wizards were out looking for trouble at the moment. But she used the excuse of work to go and see Severus during the day. However, today was the morning he'd come to drop off the potion for Sirius.
She bolted upright to see her son staring at her, confused as he was just trying to latch onto her nipple.
"Come on, let's not wake up daddy."
After brushing her hair and changing herself and the baby, the two of them walked downstairs. Sirius stumbled occasionally.
"Good morning ma'am. Master Sirius. Master Rodolphus is in the kitchen."
"Fetch me a comb will you, Retch?"
Sirius ran into the kitchen where he greeted his grandfather with a cackle.
"You're here early." She started.
"I figured you'd be off to 'work' again."
"Not today."
"I'm here so I can take him to the back house when all hell breaks loose." Rodolphus took a bite of his eggs and fed some to Sirius.
"What are you on about?"
"You haven't been at the ministry..... so where have you been?"
"How would you know?"
"I may not be in the ministry's good books..... but I still have friends there."
She ignored her father and made herself a cup of coffee. Joey, her father's dementor companion lingered outside the kitchen window.
"Corbin hasn't questioned you but he isn't stupid either."
"My whereabouts are none of your business!" She finally said.
"It's seven in the morning and you're already nagging!" Corbin called from upstairs.
"Not at you this time...."
Sirius snatched the bacon strip out of his grandfather's hand and handed it to his mother.
"No darling you eat it."
"Smells good in here." Corbin walked in without a shirt, drying his hair and playfully choked Belinda with the towel. "You're nicely dressed for a Sunday morning."
"Put a shirt on. Someone's coming over."
"Who?"
Rodolphus took his plate and Sirius in hand and left the kitchen.
"Severus is dropping by."
"..... for?"
"The potion for Sirius."
"Okay? Tell him to leave it outside the door. He's not coming in."
"Corbin please-"
"He's not coming in."
"This is MY house. YOU live here. I'll invite who I damn well please."
The doorbell rang and the two of them pushed each other through the hall. Belinda reached the doorknob first but Corbin smacked her forehead and pushed her out of the way. Breathlessly, she smacked his shoulder and stepped away.
"Oh both you idiots get back in the kitchen." Rodolphus handed the baby to his father and swung the door open.
Severus glanced at him with shock, but then peeked his head over towards Belinda and smiled.
"Morning."
Rodolphus moved aside and led them all towards the living room.
"Retch get the pudding from the fridge please."
