"Never thought that you'll lose your mind over something that's already so clear." She said.

I sighed and looked at her "You know what Kiara, if you can't make it easier, don't bother me as well."

She shrugged with an amused expression "It's not everyday that I see you pondering so hard over something so minor."

I felt so annoyed but what's the use of it? Sighing in defeat, I asked her "What do I do? I just..... Couldn't tell her."

"You sure you wanna keep going like this? She'll find out someday anyways." She enquired.

"Will see about that day then itself but for now..." I trailed off, trying to find something suitable to complete my sentence as Dranzer appeared out of nowhere saying over dramatically, "For now, our Kai is so confused about his feelings, he can't bear to upset her but has a huge ego to admit that he likes her, isn't that right Kai ~?"

"Dranzer, don't you think you are talking a bit too much these days?" I asked glaring at him as he vanished with a pop sound in the air.

Kiara looked at me amused but thankfully didn't say anything. After some moments of silence, she announced, "If you want to buy time, then you are going to that exhibition."

"What?! No!" I told her immediately but she kept giving me that intimidating look.

"Just no. I'm not going there." I told her.

"I was telling you, not asking. But if you wanna choose yourself, then I'll officially introduce her with your real identity if you don't attend." She said coldly.

I glared at her as I felt so annoyed by her. She really do have a talent to get on my nerves while herself being this calm.

"You have the whole day to glare at me, so for now, you better decide and tell me if you are going to attend the exhibition or not." She repeated her question.

"Fine. I'll attend." I said between gritted teeth. Why did I ever meet this girl?

"Good." She said blankly and stood up.

"Then, I'll get going. Bye." Saying this, she started walking away.

"Just where do you think you are going?" I enquired annoyed. She can't be serious about walking back to home, it's getting too late and the river is quite far from residential area.

"Home." She answered indifferently.

"Have you always been this insane or is something special today?" I asked annoyed.

But this girl didn't listen and started walking. At last, I had to call the car and pursue her to let us drop her. What a troublesome person.

The day ended without any more hustle and next morning, I got ready for the college. On my way to the college, I saw Yue walking to her school.

"Hey" I greeted her without even thinking. She looked surprised. Offcourse she would be surprised! I never act like this!

I heard Dranzer snickering on my situation but I decided to ignore him.

Then, she smiled and said "Good morning". I nodded and we started walking together to our destinations.

Okay, now what do I say? How do I- wait- why am I trying to start a conversation with her? It's not like me at all!

Dranzer giggled.

He's really testing my patience..

"So.. did you hear about the exhibition at out school?" She asked and I felt somehow relieved, don't know why though.

"Hn" I replied.

"So... Are you coming?" She asked hopefully.

"Yes" I answered. Now that I think about it, I want to feel annoyed and angry with Kiara but for some reasons, I don't feel like that.. it's completely opposite of what I should feel..

"Great!" She said trying to contain her excitement.

"You are participating?" I asked even though I knew the answer.

"Yea.. I am." She replied.

"What topic did you choose for your project?" I queried, a bit curious.

"I haven't decided yet." She said.

"Okay." I nodded slightly but continued "If you need any help.. you can let me know after college." Just the very moment I blurted that out, my eyes were wide in shock at what I just said. Even she was surprised hearing that.

I couldn't think of anything to justify the reason that why I said that so I just left right away saying "I have a class, I'll be leaving now."

I kept running until I crossed the college campus. When I finally stopped, I was in the main corridor which was bustling with students who were either heading for their classes or were coming from them.

Yue's pov...

I was so surprised when I processed what Kai said.. I was blushing due to some reasons.. he offered to lend me a hand in the project??! I wanna jump out of happiness! 

I came back to reality as I heard the bell ringing and i rushed to my class.

The teacher was a bit late and the girl who sits beside me, leaned in to ask in a whisper "You were talking to Kai, right?? So you know him?? Are you guys-"

"Yes he was Kai and no! Don't overthink it!" I told her blushing. Fortunately, the teacher came and she didn't talk anything further about it.

After school, I saw Kai coming out of the college and I stood there hesitating and wondering if I should go and talk to him or not. The bigger problem was that how do I even approach him??!

Just when I was looking at him, wondering about what to do, I saw him coming towards me!!

What do I do?? I wanna appear calm but I'm just getting nervous as he is coming closer in my direction!!
