Chapter 16

"A Very Happy Birthday!!!!" I stared at all of them while trying not to laugh.

They all were standing at my room's door while glaring at each other. Hehehe.. for wishing me first..

They act childish at times hehe. Even Kiara and Kai.. I love their this side though. Just a bit of instigation from Maira and they get all competitive

"Thank you all!!!" I said group hugging them "you all wishes me first!" I told them and after one last glare, they finally stopped.

Soon after, they pushed me to bed saying there's a lot for the day so sleep for now.

In the morning, it was so lively! First, Kai prepared the breakfast! There were all of my favourite things!!

"So, where are my gifts?" I asked excitedly.

"Not now." They all replied in unison and I pouted.

"Atleast give me a hint that what are you all planning??" I asked.

"No!" They all said again.

"Meanies!" I pouted.

During the day, I went out with some of my friends that I made in this new school.

At evening, when I returned, they all pushed me in the room, asked me to change in the dress they gave and get ready.

Why am I being ordered around on my birthday?

I got ready and came out. We all went to a place and it was just something out of a dream!!

The place was decorated with flowers and they were all glowing! That must be Kai's idea. The decoration was so compelling!! There were bubbles and I popped a couple of them as I entered the place hehe. It all looked so elegant and beautiful!!

I was looking at all of this with awe for a couple of moments. I entered the place and there were everyone!!

They all came and wished me!! It felt sooo nice!!

Mother was talking to the guests and my sister was busy in playing with her friends.

"Yue! Here's your first gift from your one and only Kiara!" Maira said turning me towards Kiara, who was standing there with a microphone in her hands, while glaring at Maira.

My jaw was basically on the ground when 'She' 'The Bitter Queen' started singing!!!

Am I dreaming??? I am indeed in the parallel universe!!!! Someone get me out of here!!!!

I seriously pinched myself to check if I was dreaming or not!!

She sang beautifully!! She's my friend afterall! This is the best gift I can get from her!!

I hugged her tightly "Thank you!!!! Love you sooo much!!! You are the best!!!"

"Ah... Welcome..?" She said nervously. She is soo cute sometimes!!

Then I turned to Maira, "So where's your gift?"

"You'll get that later." She replied grinning "It's just getting started! So just enjoy!"

We played some games and during musical chairs, there was a new rule. Two chairs were less in the game and the two people who will be left after each turn, will have to dance.

The game started and in the first chance itself, Kai and I were left. I was blushing madly because that means we will be dancing!!

After the dance, the game continued and we were watching from side. That's when I saw a butterfly. The game was going on, on its own pace but I was just somehow attracted with that butterfly.

I looked around and everyone was engrossed in watching the game and enjoying, so I quietly got away from there, to where the butterfly went. The place was soo pretty!! It was at the further end of that place, secluded due to being surrounded by climbers. The flowers that were adding to the beauty to the place, had so sweet fragrance!!

The butterfly just disappeared somewhere so I turned to return but instead, I bumped into Kai and lost my balance.

I shut my eyes close, bracing myself to hit the ground but I never did, as I felt arms holding me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw him looking at me. His face was so close to mine and again, we were looking into each other's eyes with that dreamy smile on our lips...

Suddenly, many butterflies came out from somewhere, flying around with the bubbles, even the music that was playing due to the game changed..

That was it.. the magical moment... I didn't want it to end.. It was as if the time had stopped..

"Yue..." Kai spoke up in a soft voice "Don't know how.. where.. When.. why.. but I ended up falling for you.. that too really hard.." he chuckled lightly, having a slight blush, and continued "I love you.."

I was blushing madly at hearing this.. my crush!! The Kai Hiwatari!! He said he loves me... tears of happiness welled up in my eyes..

"I.. I Love you too!!" I said crying.

His expressions softened as he wiped my tears "Please.. don't cry.. or you know your friends right?"

I chuckled "Yea.." and hugged him again.

We returned to where everyone was. After sometime, Maira came excitedly "Soo, now it's time for my gift!"

Saying this, she handed me a gift which was wrapped in a handmade paper.

I opened it and it was an album sort of book. I opened it and blushed beet red  after seeing it!! Kai glanced at it and he looked embarrassed and glared at her.

"What? That's not for you, so I don't mind if you don't like it!" She said to Kai while sticking her tongue out.

"But how did you prepared it??" I asked still clueless.

"It was all my good luck that I was at the right place on the right time!" She said proudly.

I facepalmed. How did she get these exactly??
