Chapter 10

I tied my silver locks in a ponytail and got ready in a blue and white dress and took a last glance at myself in the mirror.

As I opened the door to exit, Kai was standing right there. It didn't take more than even 5 seconds to get lost in his eyes as that smile again appeared on my lips.. how can someone be so special... How can someone be this amazing....

"S-sorry.." I stuttered as he cleared his throat to pull me out of my trance.

"Nevermind. Shall we get going for the exhibition?" He said extending his hand out to me.

"Sure" I slowly held his hand and the heat started to rise up to my face on its own!! I was blushing so much!! My heart was beating so fast as I could feel his warm hands against mine!!

We started walking towards the school as he reminded me of the important points. I giggled at this and he gave me a questioning look.

"Something wrong?" He enquired.

"Nothing." I said laughing.

"Then?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Hehe it's nothing.. just you have been reminding me all this since so long that soon I will start repeating all this even in my sleep." I said laughing.

He rolled his eyes with a small smile that must have lost its count that how many lives has it taken till now.

We reached the exhibition venue and the whole place was bustling!! There were so many participants, checking their projects, practicing their presentation speech, giving last minute fixing to their projects, panicking, showing off and what not!

Seeing this, I felt nervous but Kai squeezed my hand with a smile and it was all gone! Magic hehe..

The organisers and other officials came, gave their speeches and the exhibition started. People started to come and see the various projects. After the judges had seen all the projects and when we had presented and explained our projects, the results were to be announced.

During my presentation, I was subconsciously looking at Kai. When I finished it, Kai was smiling!! I don't know who will win this, but I already got my prize..

Hehe.. I was so red.. but it felt so nice that Kai was smiling at me..

The results were announced and I was confident that we will win the competition. I mean, I am the participant but Kai helped me a lot and it's both of our effort's result that the project came out this well. As expected, our project got the first prize!!

Kai was standing right beside me when the result was announced and out of excitement, I hugged him while squealing with joy.

"Awww you both are looking soooo cute together!!! I'm gonna frame this one!!!" I heard a voice saying from behind and I immediately moved away from him, completely flustered.

Blushing, I looked at both the girls standing there. I was looking at her with surprise. It's really her!!! But she said she doesn't have any plan to visit here!!!

That's when she pouted dramatically saying "Yeah yeah, you have met new people, now why will you remember me? Not even a hug!"

I rolled my eyes while laughing at this and we hugged.  "When did you both plan this?? Why didn't you tell me that you were coming??" I asked her.

"Everything got planned when Kiara told me about you meeting my brother in law!" She said excitedly.

"Will you keep it low?" I asked her worried that Kai will hear.

"Okay okay hehe." She said and leaned closer to whisper "Won't you introduce me to my brother in law?"

I face palmed. "Sure" I told her and turned to Kai who was waiting for us to get done with our meeting. I introduced them to each other and we decided to spend the rest of the day together since everyone was free for today! My day is really going so good!!!

"Soo! When will you show me around?" Maira asked me.

"Whenever you want!" I replied.

"Okay then! Let's get going!" She said excitedly.

"Don't you wanna rest? You directly came here right?" I asked with a sweatdrop.

"Noo, I wanna see around first!" She answered excitedly "And you know, I have gifts for everyone! But I'll give later." She finished grinning.

Then she turned to Kai. Wait- why did she turn to him? "Kai, will you join us too?" She asked. This girl..

Kai glanced at me and then back at her before answering "Sure."

Maira gave me a grin and I only blushed at this.

"I'll get going now." Kiara spoke up.

Yea! Exactly! You can't bear to have some fun right?! Even Kai is staying but you will absolutely have problem with sticking around for some more time!

"Yea okay. Bye." I said with a smile and Kiara sighed "What?"

"Nothing. Take care. Bye." I repeated. Afterall she wants to go.

She rolled her eyes at this and said "Fine, staying but not for too long."

We both giggled and wrapped her in a hug and she only got annoyed at this. Hehe

"Stay away or I'm leaving just now." She said irritated.

"Okay okay." We both said in unison and moved back.

I have sooo many places in mind to show!! All the famous places, rivers, waterfalls, palaces, forests, coin museum and many more!!

As we walked, I couldn't help but glance at Kai once in a while. I'm soo glad that he is still around!! Even after the exhibition getting over.

As we were walking towards our destination, I saw Maira and Kiara exchanging looks. What is it now?? Am I missing something??
