Chapter 17

Yue's POV

I flipped through the pages and on each and every page, there were many pics, with small notes around them..

There were pics of the exhibition.. me recieving the prize, me presenting the project and many more, even when I hugged Kai.. I blushed hard at this..

The pics of the carnival.. our group picture, us playing games, and even the moment when Kai held me, saving me from falling... I was beet red to see this one too..

Just how did she get all these pics???

During all these days, all the special moments, with them.. and especially Kai.. were there in that album with notes and small messages from her..

I couldn't help the smile on my face that appeared and only widened as I flipped through some more pages.

That sorry moment was there too, some more pics that had their own stories of their own.. they refreshed those sweet memories felt like they happened just yesterday.

Us pranking each other, arguing, visiting to different places, even when we were annoying Kiara by bugging her to do things that she didn't want to.. hehehe..

I flipped through some more pages and my jaw dropped as I stared at it wide eyed.

"How is this one here??" I asked her surprised.

"Ohh... That one? Hehe I was passing by for checking some preparations when I saw you guys, soo.. don't mind I just left immediately!" She replied.

I facepalmed. I again started reliving the moment that passed just a few minutes ago.. the last picture was of just few minutes back where just confessed his feelings..

That magical moment was captured there with another note from her..

Other pages were left blank as I went through them.

"The blank pages are for you to add new memories there with your boyfriend~" she said with a sly smile.

I blushed hard at this and even Kai had a slight blush after hearing this.

"Well, all is fine but Kai, this is cheating! You only confessed your feelings, that's not a gift! And if you ask me, you get my precious wonderful bestie as your girlfriend, so you are the one who got a gift!" Maira continued side hugging me "So, where's my bestie's birthday gift?"

I looked at Kai who was smirking. "I have something planned if my girlfriend's annoying friend allow me to take her somewhere."

"If you are requesting this much, then you can." Maira said dramatically and I chuckled at this.

Kai held my hand and asked "Shall we?"

I smiled and nodded, taking his hand as he lead me to his car.

He drove us to a beautiful far away place away from the residential area. I never came to this place but the moment I saw this sight, I was awe struck with its beauty.

He opened the door and lead me further. At some distance, the mountain was ending and from there, at a far away distance, we could see the residential area almost fading in the horizon..

"It's not that what you are supposed to look at." Kai said and I have him a questioning look "Huh?"

He smiled and gestured towards something but I was busy in staring at him when he was smiling. I saw him chuckling but still I couldn't take my eyes off him..

I still can't believe that he's in front of me... That he also loves me.. that he... Is my boyfriend... It all feels like a dream.. a dream that I want to last forever..

I looked at him startled as I felt his lips against mine.. I was blushing madly as I slowly closed my eyes and kissed him back, feeling as if I was slowly but surely melting at his soft kiss...

When we pulled back, panting slightly, he gestured me to look at the sky with his crimson eyes..

I looked at the sky just in time as the fireworks started.. I looked at him with an excited smile "You had all this arranged??"

He nodded with a smile and I turned back towards the sky to watch the fireworks..

Happy Birthday Yue

It was written on the sky with the fireworks..

Then came the next one..

I Love You

"I Love you too!" I smiled at him and looked at the sky again, as this time, it showed a heart.

We saw fireworks for sometime and at last, it showed

My face!!!

"Oh My God!!! Kai!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It was sooooo awesome!! You are the best!" I said, hugging him tightly out of happiness and excitement.

He hugged me back, "I'm glad that you liked it."

"No!" I said, causing him to give me a questioning look with his eyebrow raised and I continued "I loved it!!!"

He smiled and we stayed there for some more time. That day, I realised something..

Love doesn't force you to change, it makes you change on your own wish..

It accepts you the way you are... It appreciates the similarities and perfectness.. and respects the differences and flaws...

It's just the most perfect feeling in the world that makes you accept and love your imperfections..

I fell in love with the boy who taught me to love myself.. and now, if he is with me, I know that I can achieve everything that I want, because he is there to support me.. to hold me when I fall, to scold me when I give up, to console me when I'm sad and to love me when I need it..

And just like this.. our lives went on, with some arguments and childishness, surprises and understandings, from being busy in studies to getting free for each other.. with each of these, our love just kept growing stronger..

Getting flowers from Kai every morning we walk to school, getting small surprises on unexpected days, getting random messages from him to check on me and many more such special moments just kept convincing me that how fortunate I am..

The album, where I used to capture and keep our moments safe, has many new memories in it..

And until the next year, I am sure there are many more new memories to be made..
